Striker Capsule 4-in-1 Headlamp and Tactical Magnetic Flashlight

A few weeks ago I was caught in an 8 hour power outage at night. I knew I had placed this headlamp strategically so I could quickly grab it. I ended up giving a product demo to my family because they had never seen something like this before. You aren't going to light up a huge area with it, but the two settings are good enough for basic things. However, if you're in to spelunking, a different headlamp would be best. We were in a large room with vaulted ceilings, but we were huddled up in an 8x8 area and this was bright-ish, but I certainly wouldn't expect it to shine exceptionally brightly. I did use it when I went outside to check on the meter, and two people walking side by side had plenty of light with this. So, definitely a Halloween friendly product if you're out with the kids.Having the convenience of the various positions, the different ways to attach the light or use it (lanyard, stand, etc) are really the things which make this a cool product. I like the adjustability, but also the size as this isn't much larger than a business card. It is light weight too so you aren't lugging anything around. Given this is an LED light, you are going to get longer life, and cheaper cost in terms of power required. We liked it, and we found it perfect for our needs.

My son loves this task light, but we are in the process of receiving a replacement since his headlight had a short in it and it kept going from HI to LOW and flickering. Hoping the replacement doesn't have that issue b/c he uses this at night and straps it on his head to read books. Tip....do NOT look at the light on high setting....it's pretty darn blinding. Also, if you have a kiddo who loves Legos, this was also a smash hit when putting sets together!!

Opened the package and the batteries were rusted over inside. Cleaned it all out and replaced with new batteries and it works but not very well. Light is extremely dull.

Piece of junk, donttttttt waste your money, received mine and the batteries were corroded right out of the package. Threw it in the trash within 2 minutes of opening it. Customer service does not return messages. DOOOOOO nottttt purchase it. Waste of money.

I am a "Big" fan of striker products and always look forward to seeing what they come up with next. The four (included) mounts make this task light very versatile. Out of the box and untested, I used this light on a four-day backpacking trip with no trouble at all. I highly recommend this light for the outdoor adventurer or DIY person!

I was looking for a headlamp for camping when I came across this light. Very cool! Numerous mounting options, including a headband, a base plate that allows you to aim and lock in multiple directions, or attach magnetically to a surface, a wrist lanyard, and a spring steel clip to attach to gear. Quality seems great!

Very disappointed. Since day one it has flickered ...on low(one LED) sort of steady...but on high? It goes off completely from time to time and flickers anytime touched or moved(so head mounted is useless) ...I have tried NEW,used,charged,dead, and Fresh Rechargeable batteries.(FreshNONrechargheable) I use it daily...drives me to frustration constantly, but it is all i have at the moment :( Hopefully it is a defective product?

Tried to give zero stars as it arrived broken. As soon as I opened the battery compartment one of the contact springs fell out!
