I love these chair slides they have felt like middle and hard outer plastic these are so easy too apply to kitchen chair or table bottoms they don't slip and slide when you pull your chair up too the table like all hard plastic ones that can slip and push the chair backwards fast. they provide protection for my floors and can't be seen when just looking at the table set

For the price, these are pretty solid. The felt wore down as expected, but my floor did not get marked up. The 40 piece order provided a two-year supply of slides for my kitchen chairs. You really can't beat that.

The wooden legs of my dining room chairs make a terrible racket when slid across our tile floor. We've tried the felt tipped rubber sleeves that slide over the legs, but, with our tile floor, they just don't last very long. Plus, the glue used to secure the felt to the rubber sleeve picked up any little bit of dust lying on the floor and didn't look very good. So, we decided we needed something better. After installing the Screw-on Felt Pads, I feel that we've found that better solution. No glue, no need to adjust, once installed, the pads are just there. Installation was straight forward and not difficult. I do recommend that a pilot hole be drilled first, rather that trying to just screw the pads into solid wood. But other than that, installation was easy and shouldn't be a problem for the average person. I recognize that my tile floor is especially tough on felt pads, and these will need to be replaced eventually as they ware, but that's easily done. In the end, these are a much better solution than the old rubber sleeves.

My wife brought two pieces of furniture that need it this on it since I had a screw right in the middle to hold boards in it, this was the perfect fit to fix the issues plus in gives sturdiness on the floor

After years of suffering the same problems from all types of nail-on, screw-on, glue-on floor protectors bemoaned in other reviews, I think we've found a winner! After 6.5 weeks of constant daily use on our wooden dining chairs these protectors are performing admirably. After the first few days I noticed uneven wear and I thought, "These will never last!" but apparently they hadn't worn down but had compressed to adjust to the angle of the legs! The chairs feel well-balanced, they glide smoothly and quietly over our hardwood floor and since there is no sticky residue involved, there are no pet hair or dust accumulation issues. We bought the 20 mm size for our 7/8" chair legs and they are unobtrusive. They were easy to install by hand with a phillips screwdriver. Our hardwood maple chairs had a nail hole from previous protectors which probably made installation easier but one pine chair with no pre-drilled or nail hole was very easy to screw in by hand.
