Targus XL Notebook Backpack

First off, this is not the backpack in the picture -4 stars. @Targus - Fix your pictures so you don't bait and switch.This is what I got:  Targus XL Backpack Designed for 17-Inch Notebooks, Black with Blue Accents (TXL617) I have the backpack that is in the picture, I bought it 10 years ago at a retail store and now the strap is tearing so I need a new one. I wanted to get the same thing because I am used to this one and have all my tools and parts in boxes that perfectly fit in it.The new backpack is taller, wider and thinner by a few inches each way. My 17" laptop fits snugly in the old and has a few inches of play in the new.The new one does not stand up on its own, if you set it down it will fall over. The old one I could place my laptop on it and use it without fear of it falling off.The old one has side pockets on the side pockets for a total of 4 pockets on the sides. The new one has only 1 side pocket and a mesh water bottle pouch.
