Very poor value for money
A very thin flimsy book. No colour pictures. ....just a few black and white images of recipes. The front cover is the best thing about it. Looks like a book you’d get free with an appliance. Definitely not worth the money.

Difficult to Read
If you are a complete novice to cooking and smoking meat this book would be an OK introduction. If you have some base knowledge and want to up your meat preparation game, don't waste your money.I can't tell from his biography if Hinkle is an immigrant or native born. If he's non-native I'll cut him some slack on the appalling spelling and grammar in this book. But, there is no excuse for recipe instructions that do not match what is being prepared. This book appears hastily thrown together without proofreading.
