worthy product
Well, I ordered this for a bit of an extra challenge: solving a Rubik's cube in the dark. However, it really is designed for the blind. This is relevant because the height of the bumps on the cubes is only very slight. A reader of Braille doubtless has learned to be very sensitive to the information coming from his fingertips, whereas an ordinary, sighted fellow, not so much.As a result, I find that the real challenge here is not mentally configuring the cube in your mind, but going through the process of becoming more sensitive to what your fingertips are telling you. That is all for now.

Only complaint - wrong colors.
It probably seems funny that I complain about colors for a product aimed to the colorblind. But, I don't think this was designed by a color blind person. White dots against light blue background does not give enough contrast.. Best is probably white dots and red background. White against dark yellow would also probably work. I gave 5 star because very well made moves very smoothly. Will buy another, if they fix the color contrast.

Fun
This is a fun take on a rubix cube for blind individuals. I purchased for my children. One downfall is that it is not super sturdy. My 13 yr old has pulled it apart multiple times. An adult can get it back together, but it seems a little too easy to come apart. It needs to have movement, but maybe there is just a little too much wiggle room?

Not very smooth turning, but adequate braille speed cube
Though I don't have a visual impairment that requires I read with braille, I thought this would be an interesting cube nonetheless. The good: It's a braille cube. Dots seem adequate for reading (working on solving it unsighted). The blue part of the cube almost has an interesting wood-like faux texture. Can't tell if that was by design or just cheaply made. The bad: Turning feels very tight and not very smooth. Turns almost feel ragged. Cube arrived unsolved. When I did solve the cube, it seems the 3-dot center is not aligned correctly with the outer 3-dot "petals" (see pic). Trying to ascertain if that's an error in my solve? As a side note, this cube did NOT arrive with any solving instructions, however if you can solve a 3x3 cube with colors, it's straight-forward to solve this braille cube. Hope this helps.Update 10/20/2020: Ok, I've discovered the cube is definitely solvable with all the numbers lined up the same way! I call this the "pretty" solve, though I can't imagine that would be a requirement for competition. See last picture for the "pretty" solve where the 3-side, 2-side and 6-side all have their numbers facing one direction.

Smooth
I'm not an expert Rubik's cubist, but this is the fastest, smoothest operating cube I've used. I had to learn how to rotate the center square (something you don't have to do on a standard cube) because sides 2, 3, and 6 can be rotated 90* off from the rest of them.

Good cube
The cube rotation is great, cube is solid, dots are not stickers which is nice. I hope the dots are a bit bigger, but I think it might be consistent with braille size so good for them?

Cheap and smaller than expected
I wish this was colorful. It is smaller than what I expected. However, the cubes move fairly smooth and easily while you're turning it. I bought this for my vision impaired client who likes challenging puzzles.

Dimples are nearly imperceptible.
Size is good, same as regular 3x3x3. Action is loose but good for such a tactile object. Perhaps someone quite adept at reading braille by touch can sense those dimples sufficiently but for a beginning like me, they're less apparent to the touch than a drop of paint. Dysfunctional for a beginner.
