Excellent quality that can be trusted!
We used a pair of these to calibrate our thermostats. They worked perfectly and did exactly what we needed. They seem to be somewhat slow on the refresh rate but otherwise we had no trouble with them. It was valuable to be able to trust the temp/humidity reading vs the various random temp sensors we had laying around the house.

Most accurate, expensive
This is the most accurate thermometer I have. If you check their website the same one is half the price but direct from China so no certificate of calibration I assume. You are paying for the calibration. It doesn't say where it is made made in China if you check their website, but calibrated in Webster, TX, company. Almost no thermometer has capability to calibrate so this coming from factory calibrated makes this worth the high price. Accuracy is 1 deg C which is about 1.8 deg F. So you may be reading 2 deg above or 2 deg below the actual temp. I have one other stem traceable thermometer and temp reads the same as this so I know it is accurate. For the price it should have wireless monitoring.

Love it. Just what I wanted to make sure my guitars were at the right humidity. The one on the humidifier does not work well

Very happy
I incubate reptile eggs, chicken eggs and also put reptiles in brumation. This has been a life saver, our chicken incubator and reptile incubator didn’t come with the most accurate thermostat and needed to be adjusted. I now feel confident I’m very, very close to the correct temperature

What a Sham
Yes, it does come with a calibration certificate. That certificate shows just how off this unit is (error of about 3 degrees C at room temperature, but not even consistent - it varied plus or minus a degree in variability.) Conclusion - this is not an accurate thermometer. Look elsewhere.

Traceable but no probe
I like the fact that the temperature reading is NIST Traceable, but it lacks a probe to insert into any item you are testing the temperature of (like an oven).
