A Classy Touch
I really enjoyed these! The product itself is well made. The handles are comfortable and the metal inlays are detailed and solid. What I liked about this set above others were the seals included, some of which were less expensive in this set than to purchase separately.Beyond the quality of the set, there's a certain pageantry involved with melting the wax, and the wax I bought needs a little practice to make sure the seal is fully realized, but as I got used to the seal and wax 'movement', the seals turned out beautifully.This isn't a quick 'lick and mail' process. You have to enjoy the process: the slow melting of wax, the smell of a candle, the meditation of it all. It's like drinking absinthe or the ritual of a Japanese tea ceremony. It's the time and care involved that makes this special. Like many things in life, it's that little extra effort that elevates a letter or gift into something of elegance.

It’s ok. Not great, just ok.
The spoon’s handle is too heavy to sit on the furnace properly. Also, it is made for a right handed person. The pourer is facing left. Would be nice to have a spout on both sides. It’s ok but not worth $17.

If you like wax seals this is your product
This is a good furnace for wax seals. You just need to put a candle underneath and a small cube of wax inside the spoon let it melt for a while and poor on your envelope and stamp it. Done.

As Expected
I've ordered wax seals on Amazon before, and they are all made around the same when it comes to the ones that screw into the wooden handle. They don't seem horribly durable for keepsakes, but wax seals aren't really something roughed around. Overall, a good buy.

I have found so many wonderful purposes for these. Everything from cute letters, to scrap-booking. I plan on sealing our Christmas cards this year with the snowflake stamp.

Love it! Just got into wax sealing and this makes it so much easier for me as opposed to holding the spoon while melting the wax.

Love that they came in their own bag. Love that they were individually wrapped. Worked amazingly. Adds an awesome touch to sending even regular mail.

great gift idea
This wax seal set is especially nice in that it gives you 2 wooden stampers, so you are not having to trade them out as often. I use the seals in journals and on special cards.
