Pedestal Brass 1-1/8" (28MM) 3/16" Slot #MS0812 for Model Ship Building

Quality pedestal , the only problem was screws don't fit down inside brass.

Supplied with a “sheet rock” screw which has to big a head to be screwed down through the bore hole (not threaded) and to small a diameter, as if you even could put a sheet rock” screw from below and “tap” it into the shaft which is too narrow anyway. Somebody’s kidding here! No way I can readily see to attach this clean bored “pedestal”. Why they bothered to put a useless sheet rock screw with it is baffling, that is unless you now want to destroy the keel of the boat your trying to mount, go figure? Thought I’d ordered a “pair” but was sent two different heights, But they’re on sale!!! What a deal!

Worked perfectly to suspend a wooden ship model by its keel on a wooden base.
