KCHEX Replacement 660533 Stove 8" Large Surface Burner Coil Heating Element

This product was billed as a direct replacement (based on the "Replacement 660533" in the item title) for the original burner on my Whirlpool range. Unfortunately, the under-burner support was shaped in a way that allowed the burner to "pop-up" and would only sit tilted in the drip pan. I think that calling the burner a "Replacement 660533" is a bit misleading.The burner did not properly lock into the range due to the end of the burner underframe (see images) having a sloped shape ("original contour" in the diagram) rather than the "nib" shape of the original on this stove (see image). I was able to file away part of the end of the underframe to create the "nib" and lock the new burner into the drip pan and stove. Work great now, but it did require some work to get it to seat properly in the drip pan/range top as would be safe.Just be aware of how your current burner sits in the drip pan to see if you might experience this difficulty.

I was beginning to despair of ever finding an 8" element for my ancient Whirlpool range, but 3rd time apparently IS the charm.The others I tried (one was about $32) had a support piece that stuck out about 1/4" too far to fit, but now I feel a bit like Goldilocks - this one was JUST RIGHT! Fits perfectly and seems to be working just the way it should!

These are much sturdier than the original ones on my stove. A little pricey but when shopping I found all were. I like the 5 rings and believe that makes then stronger. My original ones only had 4.

Exact replacement for what I needed. There was a problem with delivery. Not the sellers fault but they worked tirelessly with me to see that it was delivered. I will definitely look to them for other parts when needed.

It didn't work, but it's my stove, not the burner! I threw all the packaging away so I'm not sure I can return, but it looked like a good burner.

My old stove-top unit needed replacement (18 yrs). This was a better unit than what I had originally.

I got this to replace a heating element on my stove. It plugged right in and worked fine.
