Birthday perfume

Sophisticated scent,
This is a typical'80s scent, almost impossible to buy in UK, used to be sold in Harrods. Hard to find in France too. That makes it an even better buy here through Amazon. Its a grown-up scent for a sophisticated woman. Much more of a perfume than some of todays light or chemical smelling fragrances. If you want a scent for sultry evenings, Bal a Versailles won't disappoint.

Not original
I was not happy with product because I do not believe it is the genuine perfume the label on the bottle is peeling off which I would not expect this on this product also the smell is not the same as I had before. I'm very disappointed

old fashioned perfume
I bought this cause Michael Jackson loved it and I wear it to remind me of him. It has an old fashioned, almost talcum powdery kind of smell and it took me some time to get used to but now I love it.

Favorite perfume for years.
I have been wearing this perfume for years so feel able to suggest that this bottle was out of date as the perfume was not so good! So, a disappointment; but this may be because it has been out of production as I have not been able to find it in shops or duty free.

Bal a Versailles by Jean Desprez
This gorgeous perfume has been around for ages but I have been unable to source it. Finally, I Googled it and found that Amazon sold it. It's still a marvellous scent. The only thing is it doesn't last as long as I seem to remember it did all those years ago in the 1960s! Maybe the actual perfume would be longer lasting.

Very pleased
My wife loves this perfume and it can be hard to get hold of in the UK. The shippers delivered it in good time - she's happy so I'm happy.
