One Caveat when using this product
This splitter did the trick for my computer. I now have four fans (excluding CPU fan)running on my computer. If you are connecting a splitter to your MoBo always check the fan/MoBo' miliamps/power specs first. Also, always clip the yellow wire on ONE (not both) of the two which provide the fan rotation/speed pulse to the MoBo. Not clipping one of the yellow wires will mean your MoBo will not be able to discern the fan speed at all as the two fan signals will combine to make an unuseable signal.

I needed to add a fan to my computer and had only one plug available . This cable made it possible .
