The Sacred Wisdom of the Native Americans

This came as a “used” book, but it was like brand-new upon receiving. I’ve only read the first couple of chapters for my college course, but so far it is very informative - and the photos are beautiful quality. The intro was well-written and the author explains his relation to the Indigenous culture as to not be wrongly perceived, which I admired. This will have a permanent place upon my bookshelf!

amazing resource full of useful information. DOES have page numbers. some people might not be smart enough to look for them. but the book is amazing, the binding is solid. its a delight to flip through. i was not expecting much for the price but this purchase has exceded all expectations. very happy 10/10 would buy again

Very interesting well written book.

Don’t be fooled by the title of this book. “The Sacred Wisdom of the Native Americans” is actually a longer Reader’s Digest of all things Native American/American Indian.Zimmerman does a fine job writing about the people, places, and especially culture of the first peoples to occupy North America. Because he uses plain, easy-to-read language, the book zips along. So too are the chapters short - with just enough information as not to inundate the reader. No verbose acadamese, here!Thus, if you want to learn generalities about Native Americans, this is the book to read.

In response to other reviews saying this book doesn't have page numbers: the page numbers are located in a unique spot, on the long edges about halfway up. Great book and very informative
