They were flat, and black as a moonless night. The aglets held the laces in check, keeping them from breaking free and fraying. As they criss-crossed through the eye-holes of my shoes, they brought me ever closer to my goal - a shoe that would stay on. At last they emerged from the last holes and merged into a magnificent bow. I was ready to take on the world.Seriously. They're shoelaces. The do what they claim - they lace shoes.

Not ¾” wide but normal size of 5/16”. No problem there as ¾” is ridicules for shoe laces and by estimating from the photo I was expecting ¼”. The 54” ordered turned out to be 52¼”. Quality appears to be good and I can use them, but far from what the company advertises.

Was looking for the right type of red laces and these hit the mark. They are sturdy, good quality, and you can’t beat the price. The package came with two pairs of laces. I almost paid double at a department store for lower quality laces. Happy with my purchase.

I thought I was buying Super Fat 3/4" wide shoelaces like the description aid they were... they are not, they are the regular old 5/16" shoelaces you find everywhere for 50 cents a pair.

I never thought I'd write a review on shoestrings, but these asked for it! Ok, I've been buying Sketcher shoes for about 10 years now and love them but the strings that come with them break way too soon. So I bought these upon my most recent break and discovered that these strings are much nicer than the factory provides. I'm not sure on durability yet but they have a nice crisp feel to them as opposed to the soft cotton feel of the Sketcher strings. What I have noticed is the texture allows them to be pulled up tight without having to work the way up through the eyelets. I have always tied a double knot of which these are easy to undo but they stay tied throughout a long workday without getting loose. When I saw "stretch" or "elastic" I began to worry about them but that feature in barely noticeable, which I like. My only problem if any, is unfortunately the are made in China! Wish they were not, as we are trying to avoid China whenever possible and buy US made.

I'd been looking all over for flat brown laces to replace the laces in my brown leather Vans, but couldn't find them anywhere local. These laces, though a little lighter in color than the laces they replaced, we're a perfect replacement. They seem to be made of high quality materials and...well, they're laces.

These shoe strings were perfect for the shoes I bought them for. The shoe strings that came in them were way too long and these were like they were made for the shoes. They are great quality and the exact size that was listed.

I'm totally pleased with the black shoelaces that I ordered and received. They were advertised as 45" in length (it was very important to me that they were no shorter or longer than 45") and that is exactly what I got. I'm also very pleased with the quality and fit of my new shoelaces. The only thing that I would correct in regard to my purchase is that the shoelaces listed as 3/4 inches wide; this was easily a mistype that was obvious from the pictures of the shoelaces. However, I recommend that this be changed to what it really is (and what I really wanted) 1/4 inches. Based on my experience with this order, I'd recommend these shoelaces to anyone and I'll definitely order from these folks again.

I know it may sound silly, but shoelaces that fit properly with such different styles of shoes etc. these days, can be hard to find. My son suggested I take a look, and I was able to find, not only, the black shoe laces for my husband's shoes, but for my Sketchers. His shoelaces have arrived, and are great! I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. If you're in need of those hard to find items - Amazon seems to have it all. Thanks

When I purchased it was advertised as 1/4" width. They are definitely wider, and the packaging only states "wide". Seems like they have no idea how wide their laces are.Other reviewers have noted inconsistency with width as well. Just be careful if width is a factor for your decision.See photos of an actual 1/4" width compared to the pair they sent.Unfortunately it was a waste of money.

I had no idea what i was looking for and just selected a size, these were a few inches larger than the standard ones that came with my under armor size 10 running shoes for reference, i got lucky but make sure you measure before you buy!

I bought the shoelaces expecting to fit my shoe but turned out to be slight smaller then expected. Hopefully, the company can make it better for me in the future.

I am amazed that I found red LONG laces and that I received them in just a few days. Shoelaces are nearly impossible to find nowadays. They look fabulous in my hiking boots.
