Sturdy cast iron outdoor artisan chimenea fireplace features a rubbed bronze finish. Cap on top to keep out rain . Convenient sliding door for adding fuel. For burning wood and and artificial logs. 51.6-inches high. For outdoor use only Review: Excellent value and high quality product - My last chimenea lasted almost 10 years before rusting out, and we selected this one as a replacement. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the cast iron components (much improved over my last one) and the solid cast chimney (which is the part which finally failed on my last one.) I was initially a bit concerned about the "sliding" door, but it works very well -- much better than a hinged one in fact. The ash clean-out tray on the bottom works well, and allows for the creation of a bit of draft if it is pulled out a little bit. To insure that the chimenea stays solid, I did buy some stainless steel lock washers which I placed under all bolts (insurance). The only "con" I found was the the wood grate came in two pieces, and moved around a little when placing logs onto it. I solved this by placing two metal braces onto the grates, thereby locking them in place. This is a first class product and an excellent value for the money. (P.S. -- this is my first evaluation on desertcart -- and only being done because of the perceived value of this product. Review: Well designed and constructed patio fire provider. - We bought this to have the ambience of a fire when we wanted. We had a low firepit, but the smoke often got in our eyes and nose. This Chiminea's chimney lifts the smoke above seating level and provides an excellent draft which causes the fire to build quickly as new wood ignites. It makes for a quick and hot fire, but you have to stand or sit close on a cold evening (30's and 40's). Maybe the heat goes up the chimney, too. And it isn't designed to heat an open patio! Not a drawback for us because enjoying a fire that takes little work to keep going (as long as the wood supply lasts) without being chased around by smoke was our goal. This product provides that. It is also sturdy, easy to assemble, and well constructed. The sliding door works smoothly and the ash pan fits perfectly ( and also makes cleaning out the ashes easy). Well pleased. It would be worth the money even if it didn't sell for a modest price.

Great Product!!!
We had one of these chimineas for over 5 years and we loved it. We saw one local over a year ago, but didn't get it. That was a huge mistake as they couldn't be found locally this year. We got a different one from Lowes, but it was just junk and would probably only last 1 year if that. I was ecstatic when I found this one. I don't know what the other people mean when they say it is junk and it cracks when you put it together. If you do everything by "HAND" there should be no problems. I almost want to buy another one right now just in case I can't find it again. We have had many many great fires in this chiminea.

Alternative to a Fire Pit
Decided to buy this for two reasons; the cost and the fact that it was a 360 fire. All parts were included along with a detailed guide to assemble. Did have some minor frustration when the holes weren't lining up with the screws, but I was able to figure out a way to make it happen. Total assembly time was approx. 45 Minutes. As you can see from the photo, it looks great and was easy to get the fire going too. Will definitely enjoy this during the fall and winter months in North Carolina.

Near exact replacement for old chimenea but much thinner materials
We bought this unit to replace what looked like this same exact chimanea product we had for about 15 years. It was broken and it was time to replace it. On arrival the appearance of this new chimenea suggested it was an exact replacement. Unfortunately after assembling it, it is clearly much cheaper quality in at least one case. The main issue I have is that the chimney part itself on our old product was cast (cast iron) where as the new product is just sheet metal. Much thinner and lighter. I beleive this may be seriously effecting the performance of this new unit vs. the old. The reason I looked long and hard to try and find an exact replacement is that our old version worked extremely well. Mainly, after being lit, the smoke would almost always pass up through the chimney before exiting which was great as the people sitting around the fire were not smoked out. With this new unit we are having trouble with the smoke constantly bellowing out at the bottom around the fire itself smoking out the people sitting around it. Having owned wood stoves over the years I know that a really hot chimney helps create a stronger up draft that pulls the smoke up and out the top of the chimney vs. bellowing out the stove itself. I suspect in our old chimenea the cast iron chimney was staying far hotter than the new thin sheet metal chimney. So the old chimney was giving us a much better "up draft" and greatly minimizing the amount of smoke people sitting around it were getting exposed to. I will come back after further testing in case this changes but so far a bit disappointed.

looked good
Item was ok but was to open, not like the original ones that were more in closed. Not good for smaller area to have heat with. Was nicely made.

Poorly made
I had the same exact chimney in my backyard and I wanted to replace it because it served its time over the years. When I found it on Amazon I couldn't believe it was the same one, the description and the photos of the wood grate was exactly the same. When it finally arrived it wasn't built the same way it was described on Amazon.the quality of the wood grate was a cheap thin material, not the same quality that I have on the original one. I contacted Amazon and explained why I was returning it and they were going to look into by the description was not as promised.

Well made
This was my second model 30199. My instructions actually refer to it as the Panacea. I opted to sell my first one because of a move and always regretted it. This model is very well made. The sliding door allows you to poke the wood or what ever you may be burning and close it quickly. The grate comes as two parts; this allows for easy cleaning out, plus there is a n ash pan which slides out and is tremendous help in cleaning. It assembles relatively easily, however two people come in handy when attaching the first leg. Do not tighten the leg bolts until all are in, as there is a little moving the leg back and forth to get the three bolts seated. Other than that, it is a great product. Well made. Should last a life-time. I would buy it again, if need be.
