Gamechanger
Gamechanger— the wife and I are blown away by how well it works. The water gets through while trapping scraps. Our sink smells and looks better without constant water stains from standing water.

Go ahead, buy these.
Love these for the kitchen sinks. I actually gift them to people. They work fantastic. They catch food; allow water to drain even when food is caught. Easy to dump out and rinse off. Haven’t needed to replace even after years of use. Repurchased when I moved to my new home, just for a fresh start.

Lasts About 2 Years
I bought my SinkShroom on December 30, 2023. It is December 31, 2025, and it died a few days ago. The rubber piece finally just fell off. So, that means they last about two years. The SinkShroom worked very well at catching all the food and still allowing the water to drain. It fits my sink perfectly, and since you just have to stick it into the drain, installation takes seconds. My only problem with this strainer is the amount of gunk that builds up in the holes makes it hard to clean. It's the same slimy gunk that builds up at the bottom of most strainer after a few days. I used a brush and a toothpick to clean it, but it was a bit of a pain. My next buy is a stainer with chainmail. It's an interesting product, and hopefully it will drain the water and will be easy to clean.

Good choice
Good purchase. Looks nice for kitchen sink and water goes down easily while catching any food scraps. It’s new so let’s see how holds up.

Perfect drain strainer for kitchen
The renters in my beach house lost my original drain stop so I purchased this one. It fits perfect and works great. Many of the aftermarket strainers double as a stopper so you can fill up the sink. I have no idea why you would want that feature. This one does not and I’m thankful I found it because I did not want the other version. It’s metal and easy to install by just opening the package and plopping it in the sink.

Worth the money
Quality for a change! I'm done with the Chinese silicone garbage that won't drain right and the webbing falls apart after 6 months. These strainers cost more BUT! Like they say, you get what you pay for. No drainage impediment, no particles going down the sides and I really like the handle feature that props up flat items like plates and pan bottoms and allows the water to still drain. SinkShroom got it right.

Weak rubber middle
Works great for about 4 months then the rubber in the middle rips and becomes trash.

It’s not exactly cheap but i fits perfectly on my old HDB kitchen sink. I have tried the China no brands ones which look nice but are usually too tall for the sink. This one works fine catching all the rubbish and does not flood the sink. I only wish that the design allows for the water to be stopped by pushing a piston down. Don’t mind paying a bit more for an enhanced version.

Passt perfekt für meine Spüle in der Küche. Die breite Auflage hat mich verwundert, aber sie deckt den Bereich rund um den Abfluss selbst angenehmst ab. Das Sieb ist so konstruiert, dass Wasser auch noch abfließen kann, wenn das Sieb selbst etwa von Speise- oder Gemüseresten voll ist: das zylindrische Teil in der Mitte ist hohl und weist Löcher auf. Diese Teil ist auch als Griff gedacht, das Sieb herauszunehmen und zu leeren. Um den Preis allerdings, dass es keine Vorrichtung gibt, den Abfluss von Wasser gezielt zu stoppen. Zudem ragt das Mittelteil über die Ebene, so dass kein Topf den Abfluss sperren kann - es bleibt immer ein Spalt. Hier hält sich der Frust mit der Blisterpackung in Grenzen, das Sieb ist gut zu entnehmen.
