Playseat Gearshift Holder for Evolution, Evolution PRO and Revolution | Optimal Gear Shift Position | Easily Adjustable | Compatible with All Gear Shifters

This fits my playseat chair with almost no movement/play at all. It’s a solid piece that’s well mounted for stability, and there seems to be a lot of adjusting you can do. I would give this 4 stars simply because it’s not very tall, but that’s my preference so I won’t knock it. I drive a manual sports car and can touch the steering wheel and shift knob at the same time with one hand, but the way this mounts with my thrustmaster shifter, the base sits below my seat and about 4 inches farther from the steering wheel than my real car, so it’s a noticeable distance to change gears and return to the wheel.

I bought two. And I hope this review helps those who like playing a more immersive style like me. Being able to switch between 'Right-Hand-Drive' and 'Left-Hand-Drive' depending on the car I drive in games is a MUST for me. Very few people do this, but for those who do, you know how difficult it is to find the right wheel/seat rig that lets you do this easy and on-the-go. I took the risk and bought two, not really knowing if they would work on both sides, but I will confirm, it does 100%. Just mirror the installing instructions and these brackets will bolt into your Playseat perfectly on both sides (See pictures attached). Another concern was that the mounts for the shifter itself are made so you hard-mount the shifter with bolts. however, I have to again confirm that you can use the manual screw to attach or detach the shifter. It takes a little getting used to, but it can be done in less than a minute. I have a Thrustmaster TH8A shifter, which is very big, but it will attach no problem with the manual screw. The mounts have JUST enough space in their highest setting for you to mount it (See attached picture). I am SUPER happy with this product. I can now play the way I want. The position is perfect and swapping the shifter from left to right is incredibly easy. The sturdiness is superb as it is bolted to the seat frame itself. Hope this helps if you're thinking of using a similar LHD/RHD swap setup. Regardless, if you're just looking to mount your shifter, this attachment has you covered!

I bought this along with a Playseat Evolution, Logitech G920, and Shifter for my first sim racing rig. Although the holder was expensive for what it is, it does the job very well and is the most solid piece of my rig. It was very easy to install and mounting the shifter was a breeze. It is very rigid and does not flex at all during shifting. It is also very adjustable and makes it easy to mount the shifter in a comfortable spot. 10/10 would recommend.

I installed this on an original playseat and it works great. You will need to make one small modification (drilling a hole to anchor the angle iron piece to the base of the playseat), but if you're using a G25/27 wheel with an original playseat you are probably comfortable making small modifications to make this wheel work. Overall this product is very sturdy and you're able to make adjustments in the height of the shifter as well as shifting the assembly forward and backward. This is definitely a much nicer setup than the attachment that places the shifter by the steering wheel. I would highly recommend this product. It was easy to put together. The amazon picture isn't an exact representation of the pieces I received, no nuts or wrenches. However it did come with a hex wrench.

Seems a little pricey until you realize that the materials are thick, solid, and very strong. It appears there is also room for an e-brake. Quality hardware and an allen wrench is included. Fit and finish is great. I installed it on a Playseat Evolution with the Logitech G920 and the Driving Force Shifter. The kit locates the shifter nicely to the side and is very solid.

The product works as advertised, very easy to install and secures firmly with the Logitech gearshift

Quality product

No doubt it is a good gear shifter for sim racing but it came without a user manual that shows the steps or a blueprint to self install the rig.
