Foundations A Cursive Workbook by Logic of English

I got the teachers manual and this workbook to have both parts. I am teaching an 11 yr old who can finally read but not spell... it is hard to find courses that don't assume if you can read--> you can spell because you "know your letter sounds"!This workbook has pages to practice the letter for each lesson with different sized lines (whatever works best for your child/student). It has bottom, middle, top lines for the writing practice. it has colorful pictures for sound practices - dog picture to circle when you say "d" (duh) sound. It has letter bingo, it has beginner books ( dog, dog in pot, etc) at the end. it has circle the correct letter for the picture (beginning /end ) depending on exercise in the teachers book. If you want an integrated program -- you use this book with the phonogram cards, and manual. But this is not necessary, i used other practice sheets and lots of oral exercises with my older student. if you have limited budget - get the manual and phonogram cards and tiles instead- they are the heart of the system! Teaching all the sounds of the vowels is what my 11 yr old was missing! - 3 a sounds (apple, snake , wall) 3 E , 4 I , 3 O, 2 Y ,. as of april 2020 due to COVID logic of english just released an all online package for $80 too !
