PRIMECOM Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger (220V / 240Volt, 16Amp) Portable EVSE Smart Electric Car Charger, 30', 40', and 50 Feet Lengths (NEMA 14-50P, 50 Feet)

Everything worked well so far. The charger is 240V / 16A (3.2kW), which is faster than the backup charger I had received with my e-Golf, and of course not as fast as the 32A chargers ( like this one , which are twice as fast, but twice as expensive as well.It came in a neatly packed box (can be seen in the pictures), and I would keep it, since there is a lot of cable, and the box seems to organize it well. The cable is in two pieces (again can be seen in the pictures), I'll touch that in a minute. The final connection is a NEMA 14-50 Plug, which was the one used in my workplace.I asked for the longer cable, since it allows charging when I cannot park directly next to the outlets. However there is a caveat, the longer cable should not be kept in a spool, but rather should have a random loop. Otherwise that essentially becomes a coil, heating up, and possibly causing a fire hazard. (This is general knowledge when you handle large currents over long cables). However I had issues with heating extension cables before (when I was using the 110V backup charger with a wrong extension cord). So make sure you use the correct length, and any slack is not tuned into a coil.Overall I was satisfied with the charger and for the given cable length and power level it seem like a good deal

When I needed to park my EV on the other side of the garage I had a choice, pay an electrician $1,450 or buy a 50 ft cord for $300. I'm glad I bought the 50 ft cord. Works perfect.

I ordered the 50’ length in hopes I could plug into my dryer outlet and not have to hardwire in a house I may not be in more than a year. Everything came as promised except that I was a doofus and mistakenly ordered wrong plug style. Fortunately the seller was AWESOME and sent me the correct plug style right away, no charge, and only asked I return the wrong one to them.When I received the right plug, I plugged it in to my 2019 Chevy Volt and everything appeared to be working great! But what was astounding is that it overdelivers and is EASILY 4X FASTER than the regular charger my car came with. I haven’t timed it, but can go from empty to a full charge in right about 3 hours, and that is FANTASTSTIC. Voltage is stable, no breaker issues, and a super long cord to make it around my house into my driveway. THis turned out PERFECT!! Thanks guys!

When Little John comes over most Sundays, he plugs his Leaf in at noon, and leaves after supper with 75% fueled in. With the Solar on the roof he be gettin a free ride.

Due to the length of this charger, I can park my car anywhere on the driveway and easily charge my car. I am happy with the fast performance and affordable price of this level-2 charger.

Works perfectly with my ID4 at approximately 3 times the charging speed of my Level 1 charger. The 50' length is perfect as I didn't need to hire an electrician to run new outlet to our garage. Totally recommend!

I like this charger because it is great for ALL electric vehicles we have encountered. Maximum home charging speed for Volt, Bolt, Leif, and Tesla, without a special install. 30 to 50 amps to the vehicle. That is 16 to 28 mile distance per hour charge, depending on your vehicle.

La prise s'adapte parfaitement au réceptacle de l'auto. Ne sais pas si le câble sera flexible à basse température, je ne l'ai pas utilisé en hiver. Aucun problème en 2 mois.
