I wish i would of ordered this a long time ago. I've been using furniture etc to block the stairs from my girls. Yes dogs could tear or chew through it but the point is to train them to respect the gate and stay back from it. I have a 75lb and a 50lb doodle and neither one will even touch it.When it comes to being a handy man, i am clueless. This was so easy to install, as a matter of fact i didn't even use the diagram.Its also less noticeable then a baby gate so its not such an eye sore.I will be purchasing another one for the kitchen..I highly recommend...

This is a budget gate that will hold small dogs only. A medium or large dog will easily stretch or break the gate. I would have given this a 2 or 3 star rating however...We gave it a try for 2 weeks but our dogs escaped and the gate is just a poor design for any hallway with daily traffic. My pregnant wife found it easier to step over it despite having to stretch uncomfortably. After giving up and trying to remove the hooks slowly with a plastic blade used for applying vinyl, I found my walls are now completely damaged. This company didn't use a higher quality 3M backing for the tape that is safer on walls, so I now need to bring my sheetrock guy out to refinish two walls and repaint.Be Warned – cheap product failed to live up to its expectations, now costing me a couple hundred dollars to fix.

I don't know if it's a testament to the design of the product or how smart my dog is but she foiled it within 30 minutes. The sturdiness of the connecting pads is more than sufficient oh, it'll take paint off the wall before it'll come off. The manner in which it attaches the gate to the anchors on the other hand my dog has figured out how to nose the thing off and walk straight through. Tightened it up more and change the angle of the adhesive pads and she still somehow got past it. I just put up a solid baby gate. The function is easier and its more sturdy.

I have mixed feelings about this product. For our dogs, maybe it would've been fine. For our almost 1 year old, it was not. It's good quality and worked in a general aspect. However, the sucky pads didnt stay on the wall. It doesn't come with spares. Also your space better be exact because theres no way tho adjust it size.

I am very disappointed with this product. Both my dogs go under. This is very soft material making it easy to go under. The hooks they have for you to stick on the wall will pull your paint off. Get it right the first time. I ordered two but one was too small for the other doorway. This product needs improvement. The screen itself maybe okay but the hooks should be made with the same glue they put on command products.

It would work well for an animal not trying too hard to get past the barrier. It us easy to install and snaps together quickly. The provided hooks will tear up your walls, they just stick with glue, but i found some "damage free" hooks that worked too.

Well it broke within a day! The loops that hold it up are very flimsy and one of the broke off within a day a putting it up. We were able to sew the loop back on (see picture) but this is not sturdy at all.

This product smelt strongly of gasoline when we first opened it. We tried multiple methods ( oxyclean, baking soda, soaking, washing, rewashing) and it still gives off the strong smell. I don't feel safe using it in my home. If I hadn't already installed the hooks, I'd have returned it.
