Not worth the money, 1st one did not work upon arrival and did not have advertised blue light leds nor did its replacement. Light also is not very bright

This item appears to contain 30in bulbs, judging from how the picture shows the bulbs going to the edge of the fixture. What it actually contains is two 24in bulbs with just 3 inches of blacked out space at either end. This, combined with the fact it sits right on top of your tank means the edges of your tank will be dark.In addition, you cannot ever turn off the moonlights, they just stay on, which sounds cool until you realize that the power is tied to the power on the main bulbs. So you can't put this on a timer and have the moonlights run at night automatically. If you cut power to the main bulbs, the moonlights go too. For someone wanting a consistent light you don't have to micromanage, this simply won't cut it.Seller gave me trouble trying to return the product when I was dissatisfied with the above facts (which borders on false advertising).

This light works great, my plants grow very quick, and the actinic bulb make the colors pop so well with a blue background! The night lights work great.Only complaint is that the night lights are on the main circuit, so you cannot set up a timer on this you have to manually turn off the day bulb. Should have one plug for night lights and one plug for bulbs.

Very nice quality light. The 4 blue LED's add a neat effect for night time and to albino fish. The legs make the light sit right ontop of a glass top which is nice. The legs rest over the sides of the tank. The T5 light is easy to remove and put back in. It doesnt make any sound. It has 2 on/off switches so you can control which light is on or if both are on. You can not control the LED's as they are either on (unit plugged in) or off (unit disconnected). For the price so far I'm very happy with it.
