This stuff is AMAZING! So much fun for Science Demonstrations or Parties
This stuff is AMAZING! So much fun for Science Demonstrations or Parties! Sodium Polyacrylate will absorb huge amounts of water! This is also known as Texas Snow and is used in movies sometimes. If you cut open a diaper, Sodium Polyacrylate are the clear crystals inside that puff up when it gets wet. This powder is larger (coarse) crystal grains than others that I have used (and larger than the diaper stuff). The larger crystals means that it takes about 5-10 seconds rather than 1-2 seconds with the fine grained crystal powder to solidify..

this is not crystals like is shown in the picture - it is a powder and doesn't work as well as the crystals do

Works Well for a magic show
The Sodium Polyacrylate solidifies a bit slower than I'm accustom to, but it's acceptable for it's planned use in my magic show,
