I am extremely disappointed with my purchase
After reading reviews and price comparisons I decided to purchase this matress.The instructions ask that you wait 48 hours before using the Swiss Ortho Sleep hybrid mattress. I waited an additional 24 hours. After 72 hours the mattress measured anywhere from 10 1/2 to 11 1/2 inches depending on where you measured. I wanted a 13 inch mattress that why I choose this product. As well as there was an opening on the bottom of the mattress. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. It is almost impossible to send the mattress back as a consumer you cannot compress the mattress and put it back on the box it came in.

Would definitely buy again!
We got our new bed on the 18th and in my opinion it is phenomenal. It's firm enough for my boyfriend (who had back surgery) yet plush enough for me to stay comfortable. My boyfriend and I are fitful sleepers.. we have a tendency to move restlessly while sleeping.. not with this mattress! The extra layer of foam on top is just enough, so much so that we don't need a pillow top mattress cover! It's thicker than our previous mattress so the added lift is nice too. I am very satisfied and have not had any trouble falling asleep or staying asleep since our first night with this mattress! Would definitely buy again.

For the $$ great buy !!
I read all the reviews on this and several other hybrid mattresses before purchase so my 5 star review is based on the research I did. First, the matress came on time and the package was open on one end, the box was really beat up but based on what I read, I fully expected that. The inner wrappings were all in tact and the matress was covered and protected despite the state of the box.It was unwieldy and took two of us to get it into the house and to the room. If you are strong you could manage with one person, but we got a king and didn't want to cause any damage to our freshly painted walls. As other reviewers said, the matress only reached 10 inches after allowing it to fully expand, so, I knew that coming into it. I do think the company should market it as a 10 inch matress in the interest of transparency. Price definitely figured into our decision to purchase this bed. We went out in the brick and mortar stores to look at these types of mattresses and we couldn't find any that could even touch the value of this one. It is supportive but still soft and comfy. There is no edge support compared to my old inner spring and I suspect over time it might break down, but I plan to update this review to give a better overview. For the money, I'd definitely grab it if like me, you need a new bed you really can't go wrong. I'm a large lady and I dont sink in too much or sleep hot. We keep our room really cold so for us heat isn't an issue. I didn't rate for pain relief because I'm lucky enough to not struggle with pain. I'm a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper and we both get a great night's rest. At the six month mark I'll update . 8 months later: Still extremely pleased with our matress. No dips or sags. Getting a restful sleep every night. We love it and feel that we got our money's worth for sure.

This mattress is amazing for bad backs
It's quite firm - I'm sure that it could be softened up with a topper if you choose, but it's perfect for my bad back. Supportive for both back and side sleeping, it's the best night's sleep I've had in years.Note that it does come very compressed - be sure that you are standing out of the way when you unwrap it! I was almost knocked over by the rapidly unfurling bed.It was ready to sleep on after being left to itself for about four hours, and my dog wouldn't get off it all night. Highly recommended!

Fantastic mattress! Perfectly centered in the plush to firm spectrum. The built in pillow top is pillowy plush while the bulk of the mattress provides the support your back will thank you for. Very happy with this purchase. A 13 inch mattress for $170 is a great bargain.

Not as bad as what other reviewers say.
It's very comfy. Although, when i sit on the edge it does sink in but not a deal breaker because it's comfortable to lay in. One complaint is the smell of the bed when I opened up the bag we had to keep the windows open in the room for atleast 4 days to get rid of the fumes it was really strong.

Great mattress for the price.
Considering the price point this is an excellent mattress. It hasn’t expanded to the full 13 inches like others have mentioned, but considering how affordable it was it doesn’t bother me. After measuring it seems to have expanded to a height of 11 inches perhaps a little more. As far as the comfort, the pocketed coils definitely help with preventing motion transfer and the pillow top portion is plush and doesn’t get too hot which is a concern with memory foam. This hybrid mattress gives you the best of both worlds (interspring and memory foam) without any of the cons. It’s not a particularly firm mattress more like a medium as it does have a bit of give, but as someone who generally prefers a firm mattress it’s still very comfortable. Would definitely purchase again.

Very nice
Not plush, I would say this isna firm mattress, didn't rise all the way in the corners. It's pretty comfortable. Would buy again.
