The Neutrogena Prep + Correct Primer for Redness has become an essential part of my summer skincare and makeup routine. First and foremost, let’s talk about its redness-correcting abilities. After a day out in the sun, my skin often looks irritated and red, but a thin layer of this primer works wonders in neutralizing the redness, providing a more even-toned canvas for my makeup application. Its lightweight formula doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, which is a big plus, especially during hot summer days. What sets this primer apart is its hydrating properties. Sun-exposed skin tends to feel parched and tight, but the Neutrogena primer is infused with hydrating ingredients that help replenish moisture, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and supple. I also appreciate its smooth texture, which creates a silky base for foundation and ensures that my makeup goes on evenly and stays put throughout the day. This primer felt very comfortable on my skin. Instead of just reducing redness, it made my whole face look pale, so I’d recommend using it on targeted red spots rather than all over. On the plus side, my makeup lasted all day and stayed in place, which is a big win. Overall, a solid primer if you use it strategically.

This is the best drugstore color correcting primer I've found. Whether under serum, balm, liquid, or powder foundation, as long as you give it a minute to set, it evens out redness very well. A lot of times I will just layer it over my moisturizeer and them use a loose powder and don't even need foundation. It lasts all day, doesn't get ashy or melty, and maintains the even skintone. Highly recommended.

On the plus side, this does have a subtle green cast to it that helps offset my dry/red skin without going to Elphaba land. However, it also has an equally whitish cast to it so I would have to use a base a shade darker than my skin tone to offset that. It is moist enough to glide on smoothly and stays on well, no caking, peeling, or flaking issues during the day. That said, it is definitely too light to work as a moisturizer. Wonderfully it has no discernable scent and has not aggravated my sensitive rash/acne prone skin.

I wear a surgical mask at work and have rosacea on my cheeks. This works great over my face serum and under my BB Creme foundation to neutralize the redness. It's not heavy and doesn't cause breakouts.

This adds brightness to your complexion and makes your skin have a healthier shine. I like the overall look of my skin after using this. This is an everyday product for me. I recommend using this daily with or without makeup. I hope you find this useful I’m 59 years old.

I have mild rosacea on my nose and cheeks that gets exacerbated by the winter cold. I’ve tried a few other green concealers before finding this one but was never very impressed. They were too thick or too green. This one has a nice consistency which feels more like a foundation than a concealer. It makes blending easy and really looks natural. Yet, it gives me enough tint to hide the redness. It is nice to be able to be on video calls for work and not look like I have sunburn. Very grateful to have this product!

I had very high expectations but unfortunately didn’t work for me. Started to peel off when I was applying it. And I believe it is a bit over priced. I switched to a clear primer and I love how smooth leaves my skin.

This product is very nice and is proving to be a good face product. Delivery excellent and this was packaged with other items very well.

I was looking for a replacement product for my L’Oréal BB magic tinted anti-red cream that in less expensive & easier to find. This is less expensive & covers my splotchy, ache-prone skin BUT it’s thicker & leaves a whitish chalky colour which means I can’t wear it alone. It does cover up redness but it can’t be worn alone. (I know it’s a “primer” but I hoped that if I didn’t want to wear makeup - I could just slap this on— not the case.) I’d recommend as cheaper alternative & it works better as correction than expensive brands. I didn’t notice any breakouts after or any skin irritation.
