Will work with Ridgid Car accessory kit hose - with some help
I read the other reviews that people had issues with a poor fit with the Rigid hose, I experienced the same even though the pipes are same diameter and it screws it.The fix is using abs all purpose cement on the coupler where the hose screws in. Apply the cement liberally on the inside of the coupler and quickly screw in the hose. Let it sit for 15-30 minutes for it to cure(it will most likely dry faster). Wam bam and its fantastic.

You can’t make the fitting very tight
I give it 4 starts because the fitting on the hose side could be better. It’s too short and the screw part is not deep enough so if you want to make it very tight it won’t because it will skip while tightening. Other than that everything else fits good

Not a good fit for orange Ridgid hose
Just repeating what the other reviews are saying. This fitting does NOT mate well with the 1.5 inch orange Ridgid vac hose. Pulls out very easily. The thread on is very loose fit and the portion that is supposed to lock the hose in place is too tight and too short to effectively capture the vac hose. If you are doing the DIY Mytee thing, look elesewhere.

Not 1.5"
I'm sure this is a good product, but Tthe threads are approximately 1.75" not 1.5", which means you can't actually get a solid thread on your vacuum hose. Please update this product description.

Not a great fit!
I purchased this for a Ridgid orange hose which is 1.5”. The slip on end is a very good fit, however, the threaded end is quite loose on the hose and will come off with just a pull rather than unscrewing it. I’ll be keeping it because I’m not sure there are any other good options at the moment. Not a terrible product, but not really as advertised.
