Schleich Wild Life, Animal Figurine, Animal Toys for Boys and Girls 3-8 Years Old, Tarantula

My 2 year old son is obsessed with spiders because of spiderman so naturally I wanted to get him some but opted for this one instead of a bag of them which was my original plan because he would leave them EVERYWHERE and I would go crazy thinking they where real. This one is perfect, he thinks it's real and is big enough to keep track of by small enough for his little hand to carry around or stuff in his pocket.

This spider is awesome. It is so cute yet realistic looking even for it's size (3" long). Love it. I am a huge spider fan, so it is a great addition to my collection.Update: This guy is so freaking awesome, I had to get a second one. If you are a spider fan, this little guy is a must have and is so worth the price!!

This brand, Schleich, has attention to detail and realism that has been consistent over the years I have been purchasing. Great for teaching younger ones about biology and animals. Wide selection allows you to demonstrate family groupings, animals by continent, and even to create food web visuals. Also great for the imagination and "free play".

My toddler loves it and says it is "cute". My older kids thought it was real. The quality is representative of Schleigh, very good overall.

This is small for a tarantula. I have much bigger ones in my yard here in south central Texas. That said it is solid and looks realistic.

REALLY, really nice plastic spider. 3" leg span left to right and front to back. Superb paint job. Very high quality, durable plastic which is rigid and not flexible at all. I bought two of them to use in RPGs and there is NO difference in the shape of the legs, painting quality or anything else. The high quality is really consistent. Even better, this spider actually costs a few dollars less than most of the others available on Amazon and the ones that are less expensive are noticeably poorer quality just based on the the pictures posted.Very highly recommended. I was really pleased with this item.

Looks scary good! It is smaller than expected but that's on me. I leave it on my desk for a nice scare to the many arachnophobes in my household!

I was definitely expecting bigger than what it is. It’s fine, but there’s nothing special about it and is not worth $6. My 2 year old is absolutely obsessed with spiders (both real ones and toy ones) and I was excited to give him this “daddy spider” and he couldn’t have cared any less about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
