Adesso 1517-01 Linda 21.5" Table Lamp, Black, Smart Outlet Compatible

Loved the picture of these lamps, but upon assembly, the shade is so short that you can see the light bulb sticking above it. I tried a specialty bulb that was shorter, but even that looked silly so I returned the lamps. Suggest this only go on a high table where your line of sight is below the top of the shade.

I love the lamps, I bought the ones with rose base, it's exactly what I was looking for my coral color themed guest bedroom. The rose bases are made from copper, they are a bit heavy, but sturdy. I've read in a review that someone had issues with the upper part of the lamp that it was kinda wobbly and that needed some glue on. I had the same issue with one of the lamps, when I screwed together the bulb part with the top of the base, it was wobbly, but I took off the black padding from the bottom of the base and there is another screw. So, the bottom screw will tighten the upper screw when twisted. After that I glued back the black padding and the top of the lamp is sturdy now. The lamp shade it is white and needs to be installed with the down side of those 3 branches, else your bulb light will show. The lamps have a 3 way of displaying the light, but you need to buy a 3 way light bulb for that. But of course, the lamps will work with a regular light bulb too if you want just light and not soft, or brighter light. I definitely love these modern lamps, just gorgeous!

I wish the earlier review had been posted before I bought this. I spent literally HOURS searching for a suitable 3-way lamp that took CFC bulbs...which this does. And I do like the look. BUT -- as the other reviewer noted -- the bulb will stick out WAY over the top of the shade, even when reversed (which makes it wobbly). Notice that the picture is taken from a downward position relative to the light, presumably to not show the ugly bulb sticking out at the top. I SO dislike deceptive advertising...I'll be returning this item, and since this is the ***second*** time I've had to return a lamp (other was for shoddy construction), I'll be doing my lamp shopping in stores from now on.

These are gorgeous lamps but the manufacturer has apparently never heard of quality control. One of the lamps is damaged on one side, one of the lampshades came with a small dent, and the lampshades won’t balance flushed with the lamp itself. It’s kinda like the wobbly table at a restaurant that drives you crazy. I tried to get the dent out of the lampshade but couldn’t without doing more damage.I was too lazy to ship back, so I’ve just positioned the lights to hide the damage and used a hot glue gun to balance the lampshades. For the price, I was expecting a quality lamp. Very disappointing - I should’ve bought a $20 set from TJ Maxx without damage.

The shade has a laminated inside that causes a glare when the bulb shines against it. We tried all sorts of different types of bulbs but everything produced the same effect. We ended up painting the inside of the shade to reduce the glare. It worked but it was impossible to paint every single bit of the inside of the shade because of the way it's constructed. As a result, when the light is the only one turned on in the room, you see some light coming through the shade as if it's torn. We love the look of the lights when they are turned off and the price was right so we decided to keep them.

I love it! It's a little shorter than I expected, but that's my fault. I over estimated the height before ordering.I had a little glitch in receiving this. Adesso sent me two chinese paper lanters instead. Waiting for pickup of those. Amazon reshipped the correct product right away and it sits beautifully on my livingroom table.Their return policy is excellent. So is the lamp!

I love the rose gold.I switched out the lampshade for a narrower, taller oneThe reviews say wobbly. You have to unscrew the Black ring then put shade in, the screw blk ring on top.Also, flip the shade over so the bulb doesn't show.Very nice lamp

These are really great in person. I love the simple, sleek look! Just an FYI- a regular-sized bulb is too tall for the lamp and will stick out above the top of the shade so you'll also need to purchase a smaller bulb to go along with it.

Me encantó el color de la base. Yo pensé que se iba a notar el foco por arriba de la pantalla, como lo leí en reseñas de USA, pero no! Es cuestión de voltear la pantalla. Producto muy bien hecho. Lo recomiendo.

Ordene dos lamparas y solo me llego una, la segunda lámpara se encuentra en frontera y no tiene fecha de llegada. Favor de mandar nuevamente la segunda ya que las ordene para un área donde se necesitan las dos o devuelvan mi dinero
