This has been great with my MacBook and Nintendo Switch!- MacBook: it has been very useful for plugging in external USB flash drives, reading SD cards and syncing my phone through the USB adapter. I have also charged my computer through the USB C port and it works great. The only problem I have had is that my computer once mentioned that the hub was using up too much energy, but this small hiccup was fixed by unplugging and plugging it back in.- Switch: FANTASTIC use with the Switch. I carry it around everywhere when traveling to plug in the Switch to TVs (you will need the Switch’s power adapter for this to work and an HDMI cable, MacBook Pro’s charger doesn’t work in case you are wondering). I have also plugged in the GameCube controllers to the USB ports and it works flawlessly with Smash Bros, same as the Ethernet for better online battles (the power adapter is NOT needed for these uses)

Oh I’m addicted to apple products but they keep taking away necessary ports before I’m ready! My last laptop but the dust and I had to replace it with one that didn’t have any connectors except USB-C.This product has been a lifesaver/business saver. Trying to upload my photos any other way would be too time consuming! This hub saved me! I can use it with my plug from my camera and I can also insert the memory card directly.It’s very lightweight and portable. Easy for traveling (I travel so much!) no complaints from me.

Just bought new mac pro, need this kind of devices. intpw USB-C Digital AV Multi-port Adapter has:- cool looking (black color, metal finish)- function really well- case is provided to easy transportation.- especially has SD card slot, easy to transfer files, photos, etc.- the price is reasonable (not like something on apple store, way to expensive)The only one side:It will be better if the cord is a bit longer.Definitely recommend to have it!

After looking at what felt like millions of products for a USB-C compatible hub containing all the necessary ports I need for my 2017 MacBook Pro, I selected the Intpw Hub for a few key reasons. Most importantly, it was one of only a few that had Ethernet, HDMI, USB 3.0, and a chained USB-C port. The space grey metal finish and braided cable gives this product a very high-end feel. Comes with travel case, very lightweight and portable. I didn't read the fine print in advance and had troubles getting the Ethernet adapter to work. Intpw's support team was incredibly responsive and helpful; after downloading and installing the driver (which was very simple!) everything worked great.

So far I have had no luck opening a sd card without the adapter disconnecting... Even when it’s plugged in, it disconnects randomly. I purchased this to transfer a sd card from my switch to a larger card... nope. I also picked it up because it can be used as a Switch dock. I have not attempted this yet because I’m pretty bummed out.

Ethernet connector is not working consistently. Its intermittent. It was working well when I first purchased. Of course it happens now that I'm 2 weeks out of the product support window. I just purchased this in April 2019. I don't recommend!

I had been looking around for a while attempting to find a hub that would be portable and satisfy a few requirements and just couldn't find one for the right price. I got this on sale and it's great. It's solid aluminum and durable. The passthrough works just fine with my HP Spectre laptop. I get a GbE port and HDMI port and a few extras along with it. Just what I needed and for a good price. Well done!

I bought this product as a portable replacement for the nintendo switch dock entirely. I have tried multiple third party USB 3.0 type-a Ethernet adapters and none work very well for the Nintendo switch. For my laptop I have a usb-c hub that has a built in ethernet adapter that gives me strong and reliable internet, so I search for one to do the same for the Nintendo Switch. This Intpw USB C Hub was the answer!The price point was around $60CAD, which is a very affordable price for a USB-C all-in-one hub (my laptop one cost me $125CAD). Everything was plug and play, and no hassle. The product finish is sleek, space grey, metal finish. Some of the ports are a little rough when inserting a cable, but you do not have to apply a lot of force to insert the cable. Once in, the cables are secure so there is no issue of them simply sliding out of the port.My setpup was the Nintendo switch power adapter, an HDMI display, and an ethernet cable. As you can see in the pics there are lights enabled at the Ethernet port, and power port so you know everything is connected and running. The switch recognizes the wired connection almost instantly, and when I ran a speed test I got a comfortable 80mbps download and 14.2mbps upload. Your speeds will vary with your internet connection, but for me this was worlds better than the wifi connection I was getting and not infintely better than the speeds I got with my usb 3.0 type a ethernet adapter.The best part is that is is all in one. (I do not have any switch USB type-A accessories so I could not check). One USB-C into the switch for a straight-forward, reliable dock replacement. Highly recommend.

Purchased this 7-in-1 hub as I read the Amazon reviews stating that it is compatible with the Nintendo Switch.I tried the hub with multiple cables, TVs and monitors and the hub did not display my Switch over HDMI. (I even tried my friends Switch - also no luck) What I needed to do is the Nintendo Switch power cable needs to plugged into the PD port and I restarted my switch. Only then did the content show on my TV.All other ports were tested with my laptop and this device works great so far.

I have read the reviews and decided on buying this product because I wanted to have an adapter for home because of the pandemic, the switch dock is at an office with I cannot travel to get it so I wanted an adapter specific that can run an ethernet cable and saw this model. After receiving it there are a few things you need to know.1. Do not use a USB Charger AC as the power source, Even if the output of the USB charger is the same and higher than what the Ninendo Switch can take for unknown reasons it doesn't accept any HDMI connection at all.2. Forget 3rd Party AC Adapters: There is a review that indicated they used the Nintendo AC Adapter from the dock to powered their adapter and so I went and bought 3rd party replacement AC Adapters and tried to do the same, for reasons unknown I tried 2 different brands and both failed in getting any connection to the adapter. I know that the adapter is attempting to show a display as each time I tried an adapter it would turn my Nintendo Switch screen off but nothing coming out from the TV so I know it attempting to work but fail.3. Sadly you have to buy the genuine Nintendo AC Adapter, for whatever reason I had to buy the genuine Nintendo Switch AC Adapter (for 40$ right now) and did a test on it and it WORKED! so I cannot explain or whatever the reason so if you are considering using this adapter for your Nintendo switch specific, use your Nintendo SWitch dock adapter as the power source and no other.
