I guess my search will have to go on to find a hazelnut spread that rivals the flavor of Nutella.I am trying to find a replacement to Nutella because of their heavy use of Palm Oil which is neither good for the planet nor for the gorillas.As for Wild Friends Foods Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, Gluten Free, Palm Oil Free, although it is not bad, it is definitely not as good.Here is what I like:- It does not use Palm Oil- it has very little ingredients, all organic, all natural: Roasted Hazelnuts, Roasted Almonds, Cane Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Vanilla, Sea Salt- All the fat (12g per serving) comes from the nuts.- 4g of proteinsWhat I like less:- It is very expensive.- It is not nearly as good as Nutella. I am not sure what makes my cravings with the latter one when I start eating some but I do not get that with Wildfriends chocolate spread. You may consider that a good thing, I don't.In conclusion:Would I buy it again? No.I loved another flavor they sell for an also cheaper price (Sunflower butter, 5 stars in my opinion).This one? 2 stars.

I had high hopes for this. Sounded too good to be true. It's yucky! Had to microwave it 30 seconds to be able to stir it at all..not a deal breaker. What I can't abide is the extreme grittiness! The texture makes me wonder if they ground up the hazelnuts WITH the shells on! Won't buy again! Also, it's not just hazelnuts & chocolate. It's hazelnuts, almonds & chocolate. I'm giving 3 stars only because it has the best ingredients of them all. Too bad it was so poorly executed.

Compared to the different peanut butter types, these are slightly more difficult to stir, initially and to blend the oils with the other ingredients. But, if you prefer almond to peanut butter, these are probably some of the best. It’s odd, because I actually prefer the actual almonds to peanuts, yet I prefer these peanut butters to their almond butter counterparts. And, as per the usual shipment, all jars from this company run a bit light in weight or product; more than the amount you’d expect to ‘settle’ in shipment. I’d say they’re about 3/4’s full, and that 1/4 jar adds up, since I have some of these combo jars on auto ship every month or so! Come on guys, fill those jars up! We’re paying handsomely for that product!

This “super butter”, made of almond and cashew butters, does not mix together, whether chilled or at room temperature. It is oil, clumps, and a paste that no amount of fork beating can combine.The flavor is almonds with no subtle nut-sweetness. There is a layer of sugar sweetness, perhaps it’s the honey. Something is stale, I’m sorry to write: the nuts, the oil, or the honey have gone off.It is a huge disappointment to me, as every nut butter I’ve tried has some charm to it, some lovely nuttiness to it. I really can’t like this. Maybe it was a poor batch of three. I hope the seller sees this before it goes public so they can put up a defense/rebuttal. I don’t wish to hurt them, in spite of my disappointment.

I originally bought this because I wanted a relatively healthy cashew butter for protein shakes, that was pre-sweetened, and enriched in in some way (to add to nutritional value). This had good reviews and was a good price, so I figured I'd give it a try. Holy hell, is this stuff delicious. It's easy to stir but still has an amazing heft and texture to it, and it isn't so sweet as to be cloying. The addition of chia and flax also gives it extra nutrients, and I like that—despite being a small company—a little bit of their profits goes to good causes. I use a spoon to add this to my blender, and I clean the spoon off every time. There have been times where I've craved something sweet and I outright took a spoonful as a small snack. It also makes my protein shakes taste 100% better. I will absolutely be buying more of this in the future.

Consistency texture and spreadability are marvelous. Quite well executed. But the whole purpose of the product is TASTE! It’s a mixture of two inherently delicious nuts that have been debased to a somewhat thickened revolting gruel. At the tip of the tongue the product is wonderfully creamy BUT TASTES LIKE NOTHING! Yes, NOTHING! Then comes abuse and torture to the taste buds ( the horribly acrid, noxious taste), the mind (the thought that you willingly chose the product) and the bank account (that you actually paid for the abuse!) I only rated this 2 stars because of the spreadability and consistency. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST. Do not even think of buying this product.

Did you ever see the video on YouTube of that little kid sitting on the table with peanut butter smeared all over his body and his mom asked if it feels good and he responds, "Yeah."? That little kid is my brain when I eat this peanut cashew butter.Others seem to have more separation between the oil and the nuts which makes this stuff easier to mix if it sits long enough.The flavor is amazing, it spreads great and is a source of filling nutrients. I feel like I could survive better and happier than the rest during an apocalypse with a stock of this stuff, which is my plan. I need to order more.

I’m giving three stars because something is wrong with the cashew almond spread from Amazon. The last two orders I’ve gotten from them have been bad. They do not mix and taste off. very not like what it supposed to be. I e recently ordered directly from the company and so much bette! The expiration and lot numbers were the same also as what I got from Amazon so something is happening with the middle man. The first time I ordered from Amazon and returned they sent a replacement that was expired… just be aware that you may not be getting the best product through here because the almond cashew is hands down amazing!
