Just got this yesterday and it is working beautifully. I have seen a lot of reviews on this and similar products that say it doesn’t work or will charge but not play sound, or vice versa. If you follow the instructions to plug in the headphones and charger before plugging the device into your phone, I don’t think you will have a problem. I think a lot of people just did not read the instructions. The sound quality has been great. I have even had the volume turned down pretty low because it comes across with a lot of volume. Sometimes it takes a second before the sound switches from the phone speaker to the headphones, but that isn’t a problem. Hoping it will have a good life to it for the money. Overall very happy with it. Works with my Note 10+, but don’t know why it wouldn’t work with any USB C device.

The adapter came in some nice packaging. The "AirsFish" logo was a sticker, with no mention of AirsFish anywhere else on the package or documentation. The device itself looks and feels nice, and on the outside it looks like a good product. As a 3.5mm adapter it works flawlessly. The sound quality is perfect. However, when trying to charge and listen at the same time, which is the only reason to buy this device, it stops working every 5 to 10 minutes (I tested this for a couple of hours, it was never less than 5 or more than 10 minutes of operation before an interruption). While watching Netflix and charging the phone, after about 10 minutes I heard a strange digital noise, the sound cut, and the video paused. When I pressed the play button, sound was coming from my phone's speakers as though there was no adapter plugged in. Unplugging it and plugging it back in corrected the problem, but only for 5 to 10 minutes at a time before it has to be unplugged again. I was hoping for an elegant solution to charging and listening without having a massive box dangling from my phone. This is not that solution.

I have purchased many USB-C to Headphone jack adapters on Amazon [even the Apple USB-C adapter] and in my experience, the sound quality was definitely lacking. I have the Essential Phone [PH-1] and it seemed no matter what adapter I tried, the sound was crazy low and poor quality; no matter how much i fussed with the EQ settings on my music player app. I saw this product and took a chance knowing full well that I had struck out with 4 adapters already. I was delightfully surprised. The sound quality was loud and excellent. It was also amazing to have the ability to charge while listening [which worked great whether plugged to a battery pack or an AC adapter]. The price was definitely fair compared to some pricier models that don't really work as well. Breakdown: Half Full: -Fair price -Great sound quality [although this will be vary from user to users' perception of audio] -Can charge your phone/device while listening to your favorite music/vids, etc. Half empty: -I don't have anything negative to say, although I wish there were more color options other than just black. Also, I will have to see how well these fair over time in terms of durability. Conclusion> Go on, give them a try!

The shipping and packaging were both exceptional on this order. The adapter worked as advertised providing audio and rapid charging simultaneously or separately to my phone. The case of the adapter is well made with durable glossy plastic and aluminum The form factor is definitely something I will be keeping in my pocket rather than my laptop bag. Features I had hoped were included but were not: The audio jack is not compatible with a 3 pole connector equipped headphone/mic combo headset and my phone will not use the adapter attached headphones during a call. The power connector on the adapter is not capable of sending data. Edit: Turns out the pixel I was using to test this has a software problem that does not allow USB headsets during calls so this product gets a star back up from 3 to 4.

I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Samsung has decided to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack from their phone. I use a pair of Bose noise cancelling earphones that are a must for me when traveling on planes. I need to be able to use a headphone jack with my phone so I can listen to music, but being able to charge my phone at the same time is also necessary. This solves that problem of charging and using a 3.5mm headphone jack through the one USB C port on the phone. What can I say, it works. It fully charges my phone and I can listen to music at the same time. I've only been using it for a week but I can't really complain. It seems good enough to use on my travels.

This thing works occasionally, if it feels like it. The headphone jack independently works just fine. The charging port independently works just fine. However, if you plan to use both of them together (the whole purpose behind buying this thing in the first place), be aware that occasionally, it just decides it's not going to work. It will charge your phone, but jiggle it just a little bit and the headphones will just cut out like they're not plugged in at all, and then it's playing really loudly at your desk while you're on the phone with a customer. I've gotten several dirty looks from my boss because of this converter.
