Not bad, but not for beginners
Definitely not for beginners (of which I am one). There are 2 or 3 "toys" that can be made in a somewhat easy way but it can be complicated if you are unsure of your folds. I gave this book 4 stars because he makes a good effort to make himself clear. I will keep practicing and hope I do better.

A good basic origami book.
I have been folding since 1966 and own many origami books. This is a good one to start with. But Kindle is not the venue for doing origami. As I have learned.

These Designs Are Incredible
This book is great for all ages. I made the Sqwuaking Bird and even my my mum, dad, and piano teacher found it amusing and interesting. It is not confusing at all, it for every model it includes written instructions and a diagram. Jackson has many of his original models in there. If you like origami buy this book.

I HAVE NOT READ IT YET
I enjoy origami as much reading. Although I have not folded anything, I confess, I only gotten the sample. But that will not stop me from learning more!

A book to keep
This is an excellent book, and ideal for a retired grandad (=me) to practice making the examples before sharing with grandchildren (8 +) who might like this sort of thing when they come round after school and just want to sit and do something quietly and constructive for a while. Twenty-nine models, a few very simple, a few challenging, and all quite clever.

Take your origami skills further
When you get to the point where you want to try more origami projects but don't want to go for some really complicated stuff just yet - this book could be for you. It offers a little 'twist' to origami, takes it to a slightly different level if you want. My 8 year old daughter loves making little toys and give them away to her friends.
