Too much salt, over-sweet, too little wafer that is not crisp
I remember when Perk was launched 10 years ago. It featured Preity Zinta in the ad and was among the first products that had a wafer+chocolate mix. She made her debut through this ad. No one else was offering it those days (KitKat came much later on). Those days Perk used to be much thicker, the wafers used to be crisp and good quantity. There used to be a lot of wafer comparatively. The quality was very good and we all watched Preity Zinta gain popularity in its ad. Today, this product has been reduced to a horrible mess! Munch has beaten Perk completely in terms of taste and quality. I've constantly seen munch boxes finishing up in local supermarkets and Perk boxes more or less remain full. Why is this? It's because of the following quality that Perk has. I hope that someone in the management would notice this review and make some good changes in it: - Currently, Perk has a thick chocolate coating and you can hardly taste the wafer. This is good if the chocolate is tasty. It is NOT. - The chocolate part is too salty. Rather than taste the chocolate you can actually taste the salt in it. Salt needs to be decreased. - It is also over-sweet currently. Sweetness needs to be decreased. - The wafer isn't crisp. It tastes horribly soggy. The wafer should be thicker and have less salt. If these things are followed then I'm sure that it's going to get better. Currently its a horrible product.
