Phil Jones BassCab 27 200-Watt 2x7" Bass Cabinet

I ordered this as a second cab to get the full 200 watts from my PJB head. It, like everything else from Phil Jones Bass, is of exceptional quality.Highly recommended!

This is my favorite. I have Madison, Hartke, ampeg and custom built cabinets. For its size and cost the cabinet is the best. It is clear and lively with these tiny 7inch speakers. The pjb replaces a very nice 440 live cabinet with 2 eminence 200w at 8 ohms set up. Equal amount of bass feel in the bass vibration on stage. The pjb is half the size. I dreamed about the larger units. Now our band has enough sound reinforcement in a pa and we use in ears too. It us propped up off a riser. 45 degreed And the feel is there. Very active and full. The low b is clean and punchy. The value per dollar is a priceless. This has been played at a small 200 person church. Very contemporary we play near 110 decibels mostly r&r type of songs.

Sounds better than you'd expect from something that size.

I love these. Small, lightweight, can handle a lot of power, wide frequency range (can produce lower frequencies than most any other speakers I could find), and have a very smooth, accurate sound.

This bass cab truly surprised on the upside, especially at this price point. You can tell from the get go that Phil Jones (the person) is a skillful engineer, audiophile and musician. This is not just a box with an off the shelf driver and an opening on the back. The product is designed to cover the entire frequency response of a bass, from the lowest notes to the harmonics on the treble. The ports, cabinet size, drivers (woofers and tweeter), ports all work as a system. It's dynamic and very clear sounding, with decent output for a cabinet this size.

There's nothing to dislike, its a quality product, made by a man who knows how bass players think and what they're looking for.
