I ordered this because I got a cheaper 25lb weighted blanket and loved it - I landed on ordering one of these because it seemed like the only one I could find listed at 30lbs. I simply wanted more weight. The quality of the fabric on this blanket is nice, but I feel like this is lighter than my 25lb blanket (which was $30 cheaper). I also don't like the fact that it feels as if the weight is biased near the left, right, and bottom (bottom being side with the tag) edges than it does near the top. With my current blanket, I specifically liked the extra pressure/weight on my torso - and didn't get that with this blanket.Thinking I was maybe I was biased and just used to the cheapo more, I asked the friend who got me started with weighted blankets to look at my current blanket and this one - she said my current 25lb blanket was par for the course, and that she also felt that I was spot on with dislikes for this new one.Pros:- Nice Quality fabric, stitching looks solid- Probably decent if you want something that is weighted on the edges as opposed to weighted evenly on top of youCons:- Feels lighter than my cheaper 25lb blanket. I was able to sleep with my 25lb blanket ON TOP OF this one without discomfort...- Weight feels like it is along edges versus distributed. Feels like a normal comforter, but with weighed Left, Right and Bottom edges. The top edge has noticeably less weight, at least with mine.- Blanket was fulfilled by Amazon, sold by a 3rd party vendor, came with a different brand insert asking for reviews (in brand-less, clear plastic wrap), and had a tag that was yet a different brand. My "cheaper" blanket came in consumer packaging (like the heavy duty comforter bag you'd see at the store) and had a tag that matched the brand on the package, so I was kind of weirded out by this lack of packaging and branding if that makes sense.Not a bad blanket, just not what I was looking for. 3 stars because it was nice quality, but the description was ether not indicative or I got an atypical/light product. I will be donating this, as my friend who uses weighted blankets agrees with this review and does not want it for the exact same reasons.

My wife had seen something about these weighted blankets on line and mentioned it to me. I did some basic research and thought that it may be worth a try.I originally purchased a 30 lb Queen Sized blanket. In one night I had to admit that it did provide me and my wife with a "better" night's sleep. The feeling of a comfortable "hug" was definitely experienced.I have purchased a second blanket and my oldest son was able to experience a great night's sleep. He purchased one (30 lb) again for his own home before he left.Not much else to say except that we love these blankets and would highly recommend one as a product that lives up to it's advertising.

I had a 25 pound and loved it. It grew legs when the ex girlfriend moved out. I tried to sleep without one for about a week. I was happy to find this one here at a wonderful price and five more pounds. I cannot imagine not having it. My sister came to visit I said take a look at this thing she said oh my goodness it's heavy. Then I told her lay down to put it on you. She said I don't ever want to get out of this bed. She doesn't know it but she's getting one :-)

I bought a cover for this weighted blanket and the blanket has ties for the cover and to tie to and 4/8 ties broke off the weighted blanket not the cover

I bought the largest size for my queen bed and it fits just right. I snuggle underneath the covers now and I fall into a very deep sleep. The weight is actually very comforting and I have noticed that the last few days, my shoulders have been very sore with the stress leaving them. I do have military PTSD, anxiety etc. So this has been very helpful. I bought it on a whim after hearing stories of others getting them and it helping. So far I am very impressed with it.

I bought this blanket for me and my wife. Overall this is a great blanket for the price. It took some getting used to for both of us.One thing to consider is how hot you sleep. This blanket will make you warmer than you normally are. This was a problem for the first couple days but we got used to it pretty quickly. You WILL be hot sleeping under this blanket.Overall this was a great purchase and I'm happy with the product.

I was looking for a weighted blanket for my fiance's birthday and one in king size. The size and weight were ideal for both of us. They say the filling is some glass/plastic beading but I think its pelletized chloroform because this blanket will knock you out. We've nicknamed this blanket the "Coma Blanket" because you will be out, and without an act of Congress or divine intervention, you're not getting up.

Bunches up in pockets. I had to return it was so annoying
