Privise Microphone Blocker

I use it primarily for laptops - had no issues over continuous use for 6 months ( taking it out and swapping it between devices on a regular basis )Still works just as a good as day 1And to one commented -- 'yes' this does block everything associated with the input jack - input AND output... from an electronic perspective there wouldn't be a way to block just the mic through a physical port w/o also blocking the output sound..However... (depending on your computer/OS) you can set different outputs than inputs on your computer via your settings working around this issue

This product is very good, but what I did not notice before buying is that the pictures show phones without covers. So it did not fit on the phone I planned to use. Fortunately, it fit, a little differently than planned, on another phone with a different cover. (I have misplaced the device at the moment or lost it as it did not fit as devised.)

My cell only has one port for the unit to be inserted; therefore I have to remove the Mic Blocker when I need to charge the phone.

I am delighted with this product, also a very simple physical way to save my privacy. I sometimes put my wife on the phone and watch her wonder what's going on that's so small and unknowable

This blocks all sound you are trying to hear like videos and movies. Sucks

Doesn't block, don't buy!

This is junk.It breaks after a few uses: quite inconveniently, it breaks a few weeks after you can return it.

I've been using this every day for a few months. I'm pretty sure it works because if I get a call and forget to remove it before answering the phone, nothing can be heard.However, I was removing it and the silver tab broke off. It fell into a small crack so I cannot retrieve it to try and glue back together. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved for future customers .

It blocks the audio too so I can't use my phone to watch videos or listen to music while it's plugged in.Save your money and buy a £1 pair of headphones and cut the cable off, it'll do the exact same job.

So this works well. The only problem like others have mentioned is that to block the microphone this blocks the sound from the speakers as well so you will need to unplug it when you want to listen to videos or audio on the device that you're using on. It works a dream on a phone or laptop that I've used on so far.

It did not work. When I plug it in, it stops me hearing what the person on the other side is saying but they can hear me. Total waste of money.

It fits firmly in the port though you can swing it around.It does not need to be forced in or out.Nice colour. Looks well made, as if it was supplied with the computer.Flat head too big to use with a mobile phone though. Perhaps make a smaller one with a round plug head?
