Unit arrived in the timeframe that was specified during checkout. Packaged very well for a large and odd shaped item. The item contained two packages: the assembled corner trap and separately the mounting hardware if needed. The color and construction of the corner bass trap matched the build quality and robustness of the 24x48x2 wall panel from a previous purchase.In terms of effectiveness the product took care of a bloom in the bass region that would not allow much volume during playback due to the extra loudness I was getting in the bloom bass region. Due to the broadband absorption qualities of this product my overall quality of sound has improved at any position in the room.I do not believe this product will block sound from outside sources, that is not a fact just a guess as I was not judging the product on those merits. I like ATS and the products that I have purchased from them thus far and will look to them first if a solution is needed for similar issues in the future. Nothing is perfect and honestly a 4.5 rating is the actual rating however there really was not downside to the product in my situation.

We had a very poor acoustic at our church's sanctuary (for 200-300 people) & also a very tight budget, so we had to come out with a low cost solution without hiring a professional. Problem solved (the problem with the low-frequency sound waves bouncing the walls) with this bass traps, the music and the voices are now intelligible. Some people noticed the acoustic improvement without telling them anything about the installation of the bass traps! Our pastor is so happy with the sound improvement we had achieved with these bass traps.

Quality does not lie

Absolutely the most attractive yet cost effective way to tighten up the sound of your recording studio or voiceover booth.
