Gator Cases Deluxe ABS Molded Case for Classical Style Acoustic Guitars, (GC-CLASSIC)

I used to play in rock bands long ago and later began to play more of the classical style. I have used guitar cases from Gator a long time. For my Ovation, a Gretsch Hollow body, my electrics solid body and now my Cordoba Classical Guitar. I am about to buy another one for my Dreadnought. The quality of the hardshell case always gives me assurance my guitar is as safe as it can possibly get. We all know the rugged environment of stage performances. Microphone stands and cords abound, not to mention the amps and sound boards and even the rattle of a drum trap set. A few drunk performers and things get rowdy and equipment can take a beating. These cases are like a tank, hard to penetrate and reassuring to use. The quality is built in with a soft cushioned interior to protect your money-maker guitar. The outer shell is rugged, durable and attractive as guitar cases go. It functions the way it was designed to function to protect that guitar you would protect as if she was your woman.

It's just a hair too tight widthwise on my Yamaha NTX1 NT but like a new pair of shoes maybe it'll break in. Seems to be a durable and rugged case. Latchs work perfectly. A good purchase, I believe.

The size fits as stated good quality good hinges I unless you have a special need no reason to spend more money

I received this guitar case a couple of days ago. The build looks sturdy and it's a well-built case. The interior has a good lining and I'm sure it provides a good surface which doesn't scratch the guitar. The storage box in the case is the standard size for you to carry the tuner etc. The latches are not the very high-quality ones that I've seen in some other cases, but they are not cheap either. The only issue is that my Cordoba C10 CD/IN won't have a good fit. From length-wise, there's about 3 quarters of an inch gap and the guitar would slide. Some reviewers have mentioned that this case fits like a 'glove', but just not with a Cordoba C10 CD/IN. I'll be returning this case. Despite the fitting issues, everything else looks great.

This is the second case by Gator for instruments (I suspect it is the third which was branded by the guitar manufacturer) and in short, I love them. They are lighter in weight than the wood hard-shell cases, they protect as well as the wood cases and are comparable in price. This case top to bottom fit when closing is not a precise alignment fit-up but a light slap in the affected area and it fits as it should. I perhaps ordered the wrong size for my parlor guitar but I chose to order a bit oversize to allow some accessories - straps, polish rags, etc. room along with a rice crispies snack or two for gigs at break. All in all I am happy with this case.

Packaging was poor! Came with hardware sticking out of box. No packing in box so case was not protected from damage! Great case however hardware isn’t of great quality! Not sure how they will hold up.

Soft inside, a little snug but excellent quality would definitely recommend. For ref I have 40 classical

We have a 1960's Classical Guitar. That means we had to measure it to determine whether the case would fit. We went to the Gator cases website and did a detailed measurement to input into the online tool. The site recommended five different cases. We ordered through Amazon and the case fits perfectly; it is solid, light weight, tasteful in appearance, seals well, and provides plenty of padding. Love it. Delivery was a day early from seller pixelproaudio.

Medidas correctas. Lo más importante para mí eran las medidas, ya que la guitarra es artesanal y antigüa con hombros un poco más anchos de lo usual. Las medidas indicadas en las fotografías de la descripción son precisas. Mi guitarra entró, cosa que no había sucedido con otros tres estuches que probé presencialmente en tiendas. El material exterior está bien a secas. El plástico no es muy grueso. El forro interior me parece suficientemente acolchonado aunque tiene un aroma un poco a petróleo. Espero que sea por lo nuevo y que desaparezca con el tiempo. Esta guitarra básicamente está en casa. Sin viajar. Para ese caso de uso, me parece adecuado. Es muy pronto aún para hablar de durabilidad del material exterior y los herrajes. A primera vista se ven de calidad aceptable.

Bought this while on sale for APX guitar, lower bout is a little tight but no problem pushing in. Depth is good. Good value when on sale but if not, best to get the APX version if you have an APX. Good build quality but poor packaging, lucky no damage during transit.

Good quality case. Wouldn't exactly call it "Deluxe" but it does the job well. The lid on mine likes to fall closed when open so that might just be that the straps are too short. Overall good
