Works as Advertised
I have a Motorola Moto Z3 which was a replacement under Verizon's warranty program for another Motorola phone that actually had a 3.5mm headphone jack. I complained to Verizon that there was no way to connect one of my three hard-wired headsets and they literally gave me $25 to purchase a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. This adapter works exactly as advertised and it works quite well. I can have a hard-wired headset plugged into the adapter and the charger plugged in as well and I am good for the duration. My phone stays charged up, even while running navigation with the screen continuously on as I am on a call. While I cannot attest to the adapter's durability yet (I've only had it a week), I can say that it appears to be well constructed. The cable portion of the adapter is heavier than the cable on any one of my three headsets so I feel confident in saying that it "should" hold up over time.AN IMPORTANT POINT: When using both the charging and headset features simultaneously, you must connect the headset first, wait a few seconds for the phone to connect to the headset and then plug in the charger. If you plug in the charger first, the phone will not "see" the headset. This is NOT a problem with the adapter. It is the way the phone works. So, if you have a phone specifically listed as compatible with this adapter, I am quite confident it will work...provided you always plug in the headset first.AN IMPORTANT OBSERVATION: I am disappointed to see people complaining that this adapter doesn't work with their phone. This is an analog adapter for phones that send an analog signal to USB-C for audio. Phones that send a digital signal need a different type of adapter. Consequently, if your phone is not specifically listed as being compatible with this adapter and you purchase it anyway, you are the one responsible should it not work.

Didn't last long.
I used it a handful of times and then it stopped working.

It works as advertised.
Be advised that this is a real review. I purchased this adapter because my new phone doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack and I wanted to be able to charge my phone at the same time as listening to music. I'm not much of a Bluetooth fan, but slowly getting there. Anyways the product has worked as intended so far. Only complaints I have are :1. Sometimes I need to disconnect the adapter and plug it back in because the sound quality gets fuzzy if you know what I mean.2. When charging it charges slow. We're talking 3xx mA compares to 1xxx mA with just my USB cable plugged into my laptop or 3xxx mA with me USB cable and plug (both with out the adapter)

Nice design, subpar quality
The overall design is nice - I appreciate the fact that the USB-C male end is at a 90 degree angle, which allows you to rest the phone on your chest while reading at night without bending and eventually damaging the dongle. I also liked the sturdy and clean design.Having said that, the thing started to pause charging or stop music playing if the dongle was at certain angles, eventually progressing to the point where unless the dongle was at the perfect angle, it would disconnect. That made it impossible for me to listen to music with the phone in my pocket, or sometimes even if it was sitting out on a desk if I moved too much.

Customer service is outstanding
I ordered this thinking it would work with my ipad pro. Unfortunately I didn’t read the description well enough and thought that just because it came up in my search it must be compatible. I contacted the company and they were extremely responsive and helpful. I was impressed with the customer service. The product looks like it is high quality, but I can’t comment on the actual functionality of it! My mistake!

Works almost perfectly!
I bought a different adapter for my phone and when it didn't work, Customer Service directed me to one that would work (since I needed analog). This adapter is awesome! The only con I have is that there's a little buzzing sound when I'm playing music or podcasts from my phone, but I'm about 95% sure that's because my charger is plugged into the old cigarette lighter. Otherwise, this is a 5 star adapter!

Best of bunch but could be better.
Charging is always a problem with these types of adapter's very slow. It is pretty durable and sound quality is not effected. When the USB-C end begins to get sloppy or loss fitting everything goes south quickly.I like this one best because of the 90° angle at the USB-C end.

Good for slow charging a OnePlus 7 Pro
I was hoping to use my existing USB-C PD charging port as the input to this, but that won't allow the adapter charge my OnePlus 7 Pro. A QC 3.0 or standard USB charging port works just fine. Since I use this to listen overnight (and not keep my wife awake), this works just fine.
