I have used nothing but these filters on my 220,000 mile BMW 540. They cost less than the junk they sell at AutoZone and are the quality BMW recommends

A must have for a bmw!
You can try to use a common name brand filter but you’ll find out almost immediately that something sounds wrong, go get this brand filter and change it! Hopefully you’ll be fine!

Always had very good results with these filters with every use, great oil flow and always sturdy looking when I replace them. The pleating on these is very well made as well. Each set also includes the rubber O ring for the filter housing and a copper washer to go between the oil pan bolt and the oil pan housing. Will be purchasing more
