Present for a friend who’s a fan he loved it said it was a good read

I hadn't realised how many clubs this man had been involved with - or c!ear!y I had forgotten. If you are a football can from the 70'e prepare to go down memory lane. A great guy who's life ended too soon. He had more to offer.

My childhood football inspiration........... a true legend..when the word "Legend" gets applied to just about anyone these days.

I read a lot of football auto and biographies. This book is the best researched I have ever read of its genre. Additionally it goes into most facets of Ball's life. It is a must for all football supporters of a certain age. His time at Blackpool, Everton, Arsenal, Southampton and his dalliances at other clubs are gone into. With perhaps the best part of his research the interviews he conducted.

always a alan ball fan. so i was looking forward to this book.i was not disappointed.good to learn more about alan ball the man.people say the 1970 world cup team was the best.Never the lads of 66 were fantastic.it was footballs loss when alan was taken too early
