The product is high enough and feels sturdy in these early days. The biggest issue was with the instructions. What an absolute nightmare. The illustrations are so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read the item numbers and arrows and they make not a lot of sense. Couple that with the provided nuts that were too big to fit in the plastic recess and the supposed bolt that was more like a hollow rivet with the thread on the inside of the stem which didn’t fit the nut or the hole either and you have the potential for divorce and the dogs being returned to the breeder!!!!!!However, ignore the instructions, use some common sense, trip to Wickes for the correct sized nuts and bolts and it went up ok. Time will tell if it lives up to expectations.

This was ideal for what i wanted, dividing a boot room, so dogs are one side. This was the only thing i could find that had enough length and i have it in one straight run, attached at either side of the room. If you have dogs that are likely to jump up at it a lot and push against it, this configuration may not be suitable. My dogs respect it as a boundary so don't ever push on it. My only real gripe is the open/close mechanism. It's difficult to open with one hand and needs two hands to close , it's a bit fiddly and could have been made so much simpler and easier....like a baby gate! I love it for how it has transformed the use of the room!

First the good. The barrier itself is sturdy and strong and tall enough to stop even the largest breeds jumping over it. It also looks the part.Now the bad. The first one I received came with one of the poles significantly bent. The screws were also defected and had no threads.I returned the first order and speedily received a replacement. The screws were ok - no defects and none of the poles were bent. But there were no instructions in the box! Also neither of the two I received contained wall plugs. So I had to go to B&Q to buy some.A good product but being let down by shoddy packaging.

I had the lower version of this which worked well for my Shelties. One of the German Shepherds found she could jump it so I got this higher version. This worked for a month then she found she could go up the stairs and take a running jump over it from the second stair.Knocked a star of the assembly as the small nut and bolt did not fit or connect to each other. A rummage round the nut & bolt box fixed that !

Amazing gate, best £80/90 we spent. We have two large Rotties and this gate is perfectly tall enough, and definitely sturdy and strong enough. We only used two out of the three pieces as when we put it up the whole gate stuck out quite wide. Really good piece of kit, came quickly and was super easy to install. Love the fact that you can just unclip it from the wall if you need to take the whole thing down.

Brilliant gate...got 2 for the side. I have 2 from a different company i will compare them with but very sturdy gates. Lock/latch might be stiff for some to operate but you can always use 2 hands.1 was damaged on delivery and was quickly replaced. Great customer services

I needed something higher than the previous gate I had to stop my dogs jumping over into the lounge from the kitchen. This is ideal, very sturdy and does the trick nicely.

Has lasted a month. The dog has worked out that if he pushes against the gate he can pop it out and escape. Also, one of the bars has snapped where he pulled on it. I imagine due to the fact is made of rust with some black paint on it. I would say unsuitable for anything bigger than a Pomeranian despite what it advertises!
