Written in an unassuming and tongue n cheek fashion, this book will give you the nuts and bolts of becoming a shrimp farmer. I absolutely loved the passion displayed in these pages. It’s a quick read and is highly recommended.

Very interesting book loved the family backstory and the details to how difficult it is to do this is helpful I just assumed it could be done easily with no problem. There is a lot of work that goes into this it sounds like from the description of a day in the life of an indoor shrimp farmer. Enjoyed the book!

I had been banking research on fish farming but after reading many scientific journals on the horrible chemicals with shrimp sources to US I knew my retirement was to do shrimp farming small scale instead. I had already researched this company and made plans to go to IN potentially before reading this book so 50% of this book was old news. The day to day commitment story was nice to read. I had worked at a tropical fish farm growing up so had some idea its a 7-day operation. My retirement dream was burst though when I read the initial 6-figure investment needed at the very end of the book for just the small scale operation. No way I will ever have that kind of money. I wished I would have started my 401k sooner. Had hoped to maybe do 1 tank to learn in my current barn then scale up. Oh well, Back to the retirement starting board. Glad I read the book to learn that in lieu of making the trip to IN & being bummed the whole flight home. If you have owned a substantial franchise in past or farm or have good assets this book will be good to read prior to your visit to their farm to get you thinking about questions to ask.

This is mostly a story of her experience starting a shrimp buisiness. If you are looking for an in-depth instruction on how to actually start raising shrimp, this is not it.

Great easy read! Read it in one sitting. It's very hard to find information to decide if shrimp farming is right for you, and this cleared up most of my questions. I hope one day I can work with Karlanea!

Enjoyed the personal story. I had been hesitant in approaching this farm. This book validated the experience and knowledge they have about shrimp farming. Worth Reading, will read it again soon. Made me crave for more!

Informative if you knew absolutely nothing about aquaculture. The book is not for my level of knowledge.

No details on how to do shrimp farming. The author talks more on her life journey with shrimp farming. Waste of money getting this book.

only useful information mentioned is the importance of testing. Expected some info of what size the shrimps are grown in each phase. If you are really considering shrimp farming then can read it.

The actual farming and details are sold separately. the book mainly consists of just personal accounts and experience similar to that of an auto-biography.

I would have appreciated if you explain the system well,how to maintain water parameters and all.this book is just inspirational book to decide whether u want to be a shrimp farmer or not
