Great Quality an Awesome Price
nice secure fit for my Springfield 1911. when wearing, it keeps the grips tight against my torso, making it concealable under a hoody or jacket. the leather is a great quality and the interior has a good finish. the only downside, a full length 5" 1911 will stick out from the bottom about a 1/2 inch.

Holster for gun
If it’s the gun well it’s just too stiff for my purposes. I wanted a smooth leather that wasn’t so stiff and this is very hard.

High quality and durable - Heavy duty Leather
In the past, when I was in the Navy overseas in Vietnam, I would make leather goods to occupy my mind and hands. Working with leather was a great experience. So, I know good quality when I see it. This holster is very well made of heavy-duty thick grade leather double stitched. That said, it does take some effort to work your handgun into the holster, but the resulting fit is amazing. My Springfield XD 9mm fits snug and hugs my hip very nicely. Thanks so much for the excellent holster and a reminder for me of my hands-on experience with leather during my brief time at war.

heavy duty but far from perfect
heavy duty but far from perfect. was purchased for a springfield 1911 TRP. it did fit but was quite snug due to half rail and adj rear sight. i wouldn't recommend for 5" because front sight is out of the holster and tends to hook the holster when drawing and scraping out leather particles and filling the tridium hole on sight rendering it useless. IMHO the entire inside of holster needs shaved/burnished to eliminate the suede effect as much as possible. granted, the front sight edges are severely sharp so not sure if this issue will ever be solved. on models other than what i'm using, it may work great.

Bought it for a 1911 45. Very high quality. Comfortable well made. I wear a long t shirt and no one can tell I'm carrying it.
