I have two(2) of these in my 2'x4' grow tent. Centered they cover the entire floor of the tent with light while at the top of the 5' tall tent.I'd say there's about a 3' gap between the plant canopy and the light and my plants are growing rather well for a first time grower. Also, note that a gap of 3' is much further away than is recommended.Pros:White LightFull Spectrum LightHigh PAR (micromols/m^2)Low WattageProduces barely any heatCan fit in a standard light bulb fixtureLow cost compared to other grow lights especially other LED grow lightsBrightEasy to work inCons:It wasn't freeIt took a lot of hunting to find something this greatSide Note:If it were not for @theDavidLeach, who is a "Top Contributor: Gardening Hydroponics" I would not have found this product even though he has not reviewed it yet! He has reviewed other CANAGROW lights and that is how I found this GEM of a light. You can find David's profile here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/amzn1.account.AEHSZ3A2L54BPC4ZX6WNPI4JV7MQHe has reviewed a lot of lights.

This light can do it all!
I like that the fan is keeping the light bulb not overheating, thus prolonging the life of the light.I initially used this for planted aquarium, then swapped it out to grow my carnivorous plants, which are very light demanding, and they do just fine! The new pitchers on my pitcher plant have vibrant color which is an indicator that it's getting appropriate amount of light and the right spectrum of light. I also have it over my succulents and the light from this bulb is growing them very nicely, none of the succulents are growing tall or leggy.I have had this light for more than 4 months. It's on 13 hours a day using a timer, that's over 1500 hours of usage and all the LEDs in this light are still working.Overall very satisfied with this product and would recommend!!

12hr/Day, 365 days/year, for five years and still going strong
It is still obnoxiously bright. The fan is noisy for about 15-20 seconds, which anyone who uses a 3D printer knows is common for those types of little fans. Once they are up to speed, you can barely hear them. When LEDs came on the market (and CFLs before that), we were promised a ten year lifespan in exchange for the lamps costing two to three times as much as incandescent. We all know that’s a big lie, and one of the reasons lamps don’t last as long as they should is ineffective cooling. This lamp takes cooling seriously, so I would not be surprised if it lasts ten years. The houseplants do not get enough light in a northwest exposure, and this lamp along with a few others allows me to grow decent-looking houseplants. There are probably brighter, cheaper options nowadays, but this lamp has withstood the test of time when so many others have not.

Works well, but note a few conditions
This projects a bright white light that about 3000k, or slightly yellow-white but not as yellow as typical incandescent bulbs - it's a pleasant color. Hung a foot below an 8' ceiling, most of the light appears within about a 5' wide circle on the floor (or 18" at 2' distance), so the beam is pretty narrow and may not meet your needs for illuminating a large and tall plant. The beam is quite bright and may be too bright for some plants if they are within 18" of the fixture. There is also a faint whooshing sound from the fan which is tolerable even if you share a room with it, but I wouldn't sleep in the same room (if you could sleep with that much light!) If you are going to mount the bulb into a fixture, make sure that there is room - at least an inch - on the sides since the cooling air is drawn in on the sides and the heated air is blown out the face. Mounting it deep inside a cylinder will probably cause overheating, so choose your shade carefully if the bulb is in a commonly used room: it should be wide enough to let in cooling air but deep enough that you cannot directly see the face of the bulb which is very bright. That said, I'd buy this again, it's amazing for what it does at the price. I've run mine for a couple months now, no problems.

Great grow light for a reasonable price
This is a first review after a few days with the grow light. I am measuring better results than the manufacturer claims (measured dead center). We’ll see how it performs over time but so far I am really impressed.

Canagrow LED Grow light works Great
The light bulb is very bright like the sun and charged my watch up in 2 hours!! The price is very reasonable and the bulb is quiet but you can hear the fan running slightly. I will be using 2 of these on my outdoor vegetable garden that I am now growing in Palm Desert CA. The sun is still low in the sky in December. A great solar equivalent light !!

Fantastic bulb for a stealthy succulent lamp
I received the bulb today so it's too soon to comment on the quality of the components and their longevity. However, the bulb appears to be well made, there were no loose parts, etc. The fan is SUPER quiet compared to a photography bulb that I had been using. Honestly, I wouldn't notice the fan running at all if I hadn't known it had one. Comparing the quality of light to the GE PAR38 grow bulb, the GE is crisper with sharper shadows and cleaner color palette. This bulb has marginally softer shadows and a much warmer tone. No idea on how the cacti will fair under this bulbs light but I'll post back with results in a few weeks.
