Absolutely love this. I was afraid it wasn’t going to be big enough for my 85 gallon tank, but turns out it’s perfect. I was really surprised on how big it was. Now I’ve got to order the other side. Not to mention on how well the paint colors look. Thank you so much. Keep up the great work!

I have both the left and right pieces in a 65 gallon tank thats currently being setup and it looks great. A little pricey but you get what you paid for. Good size and quality with plenty of spaces for the fish to hide and swim through.

Had to review this one - I just got the pair of castles, first I got the smaller castle and then I got this one (Part A)...I thought they'd be the same size...nope...this one with the broken bridge is huuuge...but its by far higher quality and just barely fits in my 20 gallon tall tank...I almost bought parts A and B, they would never fit...this one alone is highly detailed, amazing quality, bigger than you'd expect and has plenty of room for tetras to get through the holes...one castle is enough

The media could not be loaded. This is the left side of the two pieces. It is RRW9 and the right side is RRW10. They don't completely match up in the center as one is higher than the other. I took a large file and spent almost 2 hours hand sanding the bottom of the right section until it was level with the left side. I just couldn't put such a beautiful piece into my aquarium unless it showed off to perfection. One other thing to mention is the colors are beautiful and they seem to come alive once the decoration gets wet. The outside of the ornament itself is pristine but I can't say that for the inside. The removal of this piece from the mold must be difficult as the underside and inside of each piece has very very sharp edges and points. Unfortunately the manufacturer has not taken the care to make the inside fish safe. You will need to take the time to file down these sharp edges or I guarantee your little friends will tear their bodies up. It wasn't difficult, the material where the sharp areas are is quite easily sanded into a powder it just takes time. The sharp places continue clear up into the spires of the castle towers where no sanding can be reached so I recommend filling the towers and small spaces with filter media not only to keep the fish from getting scratched but also keep the fish from swimming clear up to the top and getting stuck. Eels and other snake like aquatics will just love to get into the very top and if they die there, you will have one hard time removing them as the space is limited. The packaging was great, each came separately but I don't know why one was delivered by FedEx and the other USPS as I ordered them both together. I have this decoration in a 55 gallon tank and it measures 22 1/2" long, 15" high and 11" deep. For those of you who are contemplating this purchase I have attached pictures of the sides of the shipping box so you can be sure you are ordering the right items since I know the descriptions are quite confusing. I hope this review helps you in deciding whether this decoration is right for you. I have never spent so much for an aquarium ornament but in all honesty, it is well worth every penny! I AM NOT getting paid for this review, I am just an aquarium enthusiast like yourself and make many of my online decisions by what others say in their reviews.

I didn't actually realize how large these are and they are great! Really happy with the purchase it finishes the look of the tank just wonderfully! 100 bucks for both of them seems like a lot but then when you get them you're like... Hell yeah.

This is very large - make sure you have a very large tank for it. Didn’t work for me and I wasted money.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really glad I found this double castle. It’s actually 2 pieces you have to order separately so keep that in mind if you want it to look like mine. It’s hard to find large decor items for big tanks so this was a really good find! I added the red LED lights and a separate bubbler that I recycled from an old volcano in my previous aquarium design. I think it looks amazing!

This beautiful castle evokes images of Rivendell, but even if you aren't a LOTR fan, it is still a wonderful piece of functional art for your aquarium (no, they didn't pay me to write this, I just like it that much!). The detail on it is amazing and the blue rooftops and river really pop under the lights. The fish do swim through it and sometimes hang out inside it.This is the castle part A in a 75 gallon aquarium (when it was just being set up). You could probably also put it in a 55, but maybe a little tighter front to back for fish to swim around. 37 might be possible too...definitely nothing under say 18 or 20 inches tall.
