Value for Money, Good Customer Service
I purchased this to replace an existing similiar broken item and I thought it was good value for money. The product looked absolutely fine, easily fitted and was as expected. Unfortunately the "twizzle" stick after a week did not rotate the connection so the blinds stayed closed, however the seller could not have been more reasonable and sorted out a replacement very quickly, and the replacement works absolutely fine. Thank you.

Easy To Fit
Came in clear plastic cover so easy to see product.Fitting was a breeze following instructions which were clear, easier than most flat packs.Pull cords are quite long, but these are the long drop ones on patio windows, also they can be shortened.I purchased 2 to cover large sliding patio windows so they are fitted right next to each other, gap between them is about 1cm so no light leakage around the side.Slat angle adjustment by control rod is brilliant and can be easily removed if not needed in place permanently.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT - INCOMPETENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY
These blinds have 2 basic, and potentially dangerous defects. Firstly : The top rail is made of PVC (rather than extruded aluminium) so is liable to break unless properly supported. The vendors provide 2 end sockets (ES) and up to 2 support brackets (SP). The first glaring defect is the ES is designed to load from the FRONT whereas the SP is designed to load from the TOP so impossible to install the blind unless you rotate the SP by 90 degrees. Problem is, that as the top rail is rectangular in section, rather than square, this rotation results in the top rail overhanging the SP so liable to fall out easily. The second defect is that the Installation Instructions are dangerously misleading. They recommend that the SP is CENTRALLY located. In fact you need 3-4 SPs, two of which should be positioned near the pull chord. I followed the instructions and the blind came crashing down over my head (It broke at the pull chord), narrow shards of PVC narrowly missing my eye. Children are even more at risk than adults because they tend to pull things. The danger is that stresses in the top rail build up over a period of time (like bending metal or plastic) so a child might pull and pull, thinking that the blind is safe, then SUDDENLY it breaks without warning when the accumulated stresses reduce elasticity and cause the top rail to become brittle.I alerted the company to this situation months ago but an incompetent Customer Services department completely misunderstood and mishandled the message so I sent a full dossier of evidence (including photographs and illustrations) to the General Manager by Recorded Delivery...TWICE with no response, so you can take it this is an irresponsibly managed company with no Consumer Safety standards.A few weeks ago I alerted Trading Standards and trust that they will take appropriate action but meanwhile be warned. This is an unsafe product !If you have installed yours according to instructions, or if yours has already broken, please email me on [email protected] for more effective installation instructions.

Good quality for the price
I nearly didn't buy these because of the bad reviews, but glad I did. I couldn't afford proper quality blinds, byt these are brilliant quality for the price.People are complaining about them breaking easy because they are flimsy, and all I can say is I've had them for months and had no issues. Yes they are a little flimsy, but if you expect higher quality then go pay full price for proper quality ones. They're only break if you try to pull the blinds apart to see through, which you aren't supposed to do anyway..if you want to look put, roll them up.
