This is a "Saturday to Monday" bag that you would pack right before you fly out on the weekend planning to red-eye back in during the week going straight to the office from the airport. It definitely seems more focused on being an office commuter bag first and a travel bag second. It can keep workday and desktop necessities organized, but you might consider packing cubes, a toiletry wet bag, and a shoe/laundry pouch if you really want to vacation with this.Straps:Excellent padding on the shoulder straps which hide away nicely, and the chest buckle and stroller handle are both sturdy enough for frequent travel. Shoulder straps has carabiner loops for quick access to keys, a small bluetooth speaker, or charms.Compartments:Laptop compartment has excellent space and padding for all your gadgets, wires, and cables but the bottom of the bag is not cushioned. I would consider packing a separate "pencil case" or "cables pouch" to keep things accessible. Travel compartment is spacious and easy to access as in the photos, but it could use a couple more internal sleeves or pouches - you might consider adding more organization for as described above. There are only 2 outer pockets to keep things handy and they are quite thin, but this might be to encourage keeping the "lid" to the travel compartment lighter when packed.Fabric:In person, the color looks excellent and it feels pretty stain tolerant. The fabric feels surprisingly rugged for an office/commuter bag that could occasionally be taken long distances.

I bought mine almost 5 years ago and it immediately turned into my go-to travel bag. I'm writing a review now because I'm back to buy a second bag for a friend and saw I hadn't rated it.There's so many little design features that are great. Just look at the pictures and description. They are all accurate and what you see is what you'll get (in a good way).But my absolute favorite detail is the deployable/stowable backpack straps. I love how quickly I can convert back and forth from backpack to carry-on-style bag. In backpack mode, the straps feel sturdy and comfortable. In carry-on mode, the top strap and side strap make it easy to handle. Even when the bag is stuffed full (including laptop and tablet in the front compartment) I've had no issues on planes putting it under the seat. Meaning it's always treated as a personal item.A couple of minor nitpicks that I saw other reviews mention and that I agree with. The tablet/laptop compartment doesn't have a rigid separation between it and the main compartment. If you overstuff the main compartment, or if there are hard, pokey bits in what you pack it can bulge into the laptop compartment, making it an awkward fit for your electronics. I avoid this by packing so that everything is evenly distributed in the main compartment. Haven't had any issues with this method.The other gripe is the two front zipper pockets. I used them for quick grab stuff (earbuds, hand sanitizer, sunglasses, paperwork I'll need, etc). Each front pocket has one zipper that zips side to side. There's a chance that items may fall out if the little pockets are crammed full of stuff. To be clear this has not happened to me. But every time I unzip the front pocket it FEELS like everything might fall out. As other reviewers mentioned it would've been great if the pockets had two zipper heads that met in the middle. In fact, I'm taking my bag to a tailor to have the pockets altered with two zippers. That's right. I'm having a 5 year old backpack altered. It's worth it. The bag is that good.

Get this backpack for travel! I get anxiety with luggage have been lost in the past and this is the key. It has so many compartments that I’ve never had to travel with anything but this. It slides right under the seat and makes my travel so easy and anxiety free

This is a solid backpack for short trips. It fits my laptop, two pairs of pants, three shirts, a sweater, toiletries and most importantly my CPAP machine. Throw in some socks and underwear also. The small compartments are perfect for accessories such as a small bluetooth speaker, portable charger, and other small gadgets. Great for a 4-5 day trip. Only concern: The water bottle pocket on the side is quite tight. I really don't think anything other than a standard 16.9 oz bottle will fit in here easily. Definitely recommend. Can't beat the price.

Awesome backpack/carry-on! Full of terrific pockets, slots, and places for everything. Convertible from a backpack to carry with a handle. Very well constructed. I just love it!

well-designed, light and fully functional. Took it on a trip where I carried it as a bag and wore it as a backpack. Love the padded laptop/tablet sleeves and the full around zippers. A great value!
