Shockingly....Spockingly adorable and extremely well made!
Looks exactly like what you'd imagine - bought this for my engineer/Star Trek enthusiast father-in-law for Father's Day in lieu of a card - HE LOVED IT. Excellent quality:Feels exactly like a passport in thickness and sturdiness.Fun design with trivial additions that make more enchanting for the S.T. fan. Very sweet.And - it FEELS like memorabilia from a set (I actually work in Hollywood and this feels like a verifiable prop rather than a throw away toy used by a novice cosplayer).

Practical - meh, fun - definitely!
These are perfectly the size of FieldNotes notebooks. Is it practical - only if you are a big fan of that size of notebook. Is it fun - If you are a trekkie definitely!

smaller than it looks
Very cute. Bought as a gift, but it is really small so a little embarrassing to give as a gift. Price too high especially since it fits in an envelope so the mailing price would be really cheap.

Fabulous little notebook!
I'm so happy I bought these. The main attraction for me was the Star Trek theme but the paper was a pleasant surprise. It's thicker than most notebook paper and has a slight tooth to it. The color of the paper is what I'd call a warm white; the cover has a nice feel to it and the back cover folds out to reveal diagrams of standard Academy gear like the phaser and tricorder. You get two so the price is great. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

Nicely made
It was a gift for my brother. He is very particular. I had it shipped directly to him. Without asking, he told me it was a thoughtful gift & of excellent quality (he is EXTREMELY quality conscious)! This was in lieu of a birthday card which is about the same price & usuable! So now I'll order the Alice in Wonderland themed one for me to put in my purse. I feel confident it won't fall apart easily.
