Early Review: Light, Compact, Accurate, & Great Value!
Out of the box this was exactly what I expected/as advertised. I was slightly hesitant to due some reviews I read about the board being a little "sticky" when expanded and someone mentioned that theirs "melted" in the sun.I can't speak to durability yet as I've only had it out one time but overall it works great for my situation. I have a 10ft plastic boat (w electric trolling motor) where space is at a premium. I can't comfortably mount anything into the boat's material so the compact/light/expandable bump board really appealed to me.We have an 18" minimum on Walleyes so this board happens to be the perfect length not-expanded (see pics). If I happen to run into any bigger walleyes I can easily expand the board out all the way to get the length.I did take a black permanent marker and highlight the raised lettering on the board to make it easy to read - no biggie there (see pics). It does expand out fully and maintains accuracy fully expanded. Expansion and retraction is quick and easy after doing it a couple times, no issues out of the box here.It does have a small foam insert for flotation which I did not test and don't intend to intentionally ;)In regards to durability, I'll update this review down the line (probably later on this summer) after it's been used several times. Or, if there is no update, assume durability is at least satisfactory as I'm pretty critical of products I purchase. So far though I don't have any complaints and I'm very happy with the functionality/value ratio.

Have to have this, but plastic won't last?
Used this for 2 years now. It's something must have if you are an avid fisherman. Easy to lay the fish on the board and get a quick measurement. However the numbers are hard to see because of the color. I highlighted it with a marker which sorta work much better. Also it's plastic. After 2 years it's showing cracks at different areas. But so far despite the cracks, I can still use it.

Works as designed. Product does float and is easy to read the measurements. I highly recommend this.

Nice bump board for the money.
Some say it's hard to slide in and out..I had no trouble with it..to me it's worth the price...the seller ships fast. Thank you

It will do the job
Heavy plastic. Does not slide in or out easily. Part of that may be fixed with some flashing removal. The measuring markings same color as base but very raised. I'll take a sharpie to them to make the stand out. It will work but was surprised at the heaviness. Uses a bit of Styrofoam in the bump board part to help it float I think but I would be surprised if it did. I'll drill a small hole and tether it. Not sure if I would recommend unless needing that type for a tournament and you need to save money. The price was good and it is sturdy enough.

Cheaper than a $500 fine
I am typically a catch an release type of fisherman but recently a lady has been asking me to bring her a few home to help feed her family. I figured I better know if I was legal. This board is a nice compact way of getting a good measurement and is easy to read for us older guys. Nice big numbers easy to see. Stays in the bottom of my rod box ready when I need it. The latch is plastic but if you’re not an animal it should last just fine and it also has a piece of foam in the end just incase it gets knocked overboard it will float until you can retrieve it. Don’t guess at the length guys a 1/4 can cost you $25 to $500 depending on the judge.

Works well, doesn’t bend, and isn’t heavy
Works well especially on a kayak, plastic is a bit thin so probably don’t throw things on top of it.
