Great for hanging lights!
I used two of these to span the outside of my balcony to hang lights off of. It works wonderfully, even against the rough exterior wall, they have not budged at all. They have lasted through strong winds and rain and have not needed any adjustments.They are very easy to use and have a nice finish on them that has not scratched off at all even being outside.

Best Wide Window Tension Rod for putting up insulating curtains... great value
Ordered 3 different tension rods for a wide window. This is the only one that was quality. I returned the others. It is thick enough to be super sturdy and stable. Although wide, the tension is great and it even fits in a narrow space. The end is not as big as the shower curtain rods, but it has the strength and stability of one.

Perfect for mounting my projector screen
I got this as a way to hang a curtain to use a screen for my projector. I’m in an apartment so I wanted to avoid anything I need to screw in but this has been plenty stable even without wall anchors. It looks nice and I have yet to have any issues with it staying in place. The only thing that could be better is if the tension mechanism could be adjusted when it’s already in place. The way it works, you essentially have to make the bar too long for the walls (or wherever you are putting it) and squish the spring to put the bar in place. The system works and it holds well but the install is a bit awkward as a result.

Sturdy Spring and Long Length
Extends to more than the 84" we needed. Very sturdy for a spring rod. Perfect for our curtains, which are relatively light weight, so we have no concerns about them holding.

Sturdy enough to hold my curtains!
Used these to hang curtains in my apartment because I didn’t want to drill into the wall. It was hard to find something long enough because this window is huge but this is perfect! I’ve been using this rod for months and it hasn’t fallen at all.
