D'AddarioElectric Guitar Strings, XT Nickel Coated, XTE1052, Light Top/Heavy Bottom Gauge 10-52, 6-String Set, Pack of 1

After finding out my nephew inherited my old guitar, I decided it was time to put some new strings on it. These strings brought the guitar back to life and made it sound great. Not to mention tuning was a lot easier too. Can't say for sure on longevity but I have no doubt they will last as long as any of the other strings I purchased for my own guitar.

I have three “main players”….play 4 to 5 days per week, 2 hours per day. I leave them out on a rack prolly 20 days a month. I just received my 3-pack of 9-46’s that are automatically sent every 3 months. Yes these sound and play great till about the last week, so 3 months per set pretty damn good. I play blues and rock. LP Classic, Tele Deluxe & PRS Custom 24. Not currently gigging.

If I had the money I'd always buy these. Unlike other coated strings these feel totally natural and last a long time. Great for people like me with sweaty hands. If I can't get my hands on these then I go for the NYXL ones. These are top tier and I will never switch back to Ernie Ball.Edit: I'm now on my third pack and I'm never going back. I wish there were an option for subscribe and save like there are for the 9-42 NYXL strings but oh well. I get these about once every 3 to 4 months just for the one guitar I use these on. I like using these on my Jazzmaster. Despite it's scale length being the same as all other Fender guitars like the Strat the string still has to travel further from the bridge to peg and the high E is prone to breakage.

I have used D'Addario strings for decades. They are very good sounding. A classy product.

The strings feel and sound great. They don't feel like coated strings, even though they technically are. I would highly recommend these on guitars that aren't your main guitar, as they will last a long time without needing to change the strings. When the strings get old they start to feel plastic and rattle, but they don't quite corrode like typical strings would, and they don't start to sound noticeably dull, but also not as bright as when the guitar is strung. These last around twice as long as normal strings, and can be pushed for longer if you really want to. These strings are great, but the NYXL's sound and play better to me, and have more gauge options. as far as I can tell, the heaviest the XT's get is a 52, which is fine if you don't plan to go below drop C, but NYXL has options that go all the way down to a 60, and also has options for 7 and 8 string guitars. I wish the XT's had these options. The XT's are great for what they are though, and I would highly recommend them if they meet your use case

Me parece excelente que vengan 3 juegos de cuerdas en un solo paquete, y más aún en cuerdas premium que tienen una vida extendida y un feel natural

As cordas são excelentes, pena que são muito caras. Mas pra quem grava é bom ter um bom encordoamento sempre.

Put them on my Strat. Great sound and feel, and they stay in tune well. I’ll buy them again.

Si bien este modelo de cuerdas no son las mas economicas... definitivamente la calidad hace que valga la pena gastar en estas.Tres dias antes habia instalado unas cuerdas marca DR, que las venden por aqui, de esas fosforecentes... y pues son chulas... pero definitivamente el sonido es como si tus cuerdas ya tubieran 3 años de uso, sonido totalmente opaco. Como dije no dure 3 dias con esas cuerdas y decidi quitarlas.Yo normalmente uso cuerdas Ernie ball, que no le ecuentro ningun inconveniente. pero en cuanto instale estas Daddario, uuuff el sonido mejora en mi guitarra... tiene mas brillo y cuerpo las notas definitivo a pesar de que no son las mas baratas, creo que pondre en mis guitarras esta marca Daddario.Vale la pena mencionar que una de las cuerdas la primera, el ojillo de la cuerda tenida 2 cuerdas! definitivo un defecto de fabrica... solo recorte esa cuerda de mas, y sin ningun inconveniente... a pesar de este inconveniente, difinitivo recomiendo y volvere a usar esta marca.
